@EVPuzzle That roof was done about 6 years ago. No issues with water run off.

@EVPuzzle Connecter to the guttering at roof edge as before. After a dry spell the roof takes up water for the plants via a dimpled tray underneath the grid in which the sedums are planted. So slows down the run off into the drains. Our utility room is now warmer in winter and cooler now.

@ProudBrit19 @KateFantom With the new energy price cap my home EV charging costs will halve to 3.49p a kW. Thats the equivalent of about 150 miles to the gallon of dinosaur fuel. So if I have to buy a top up when out it will still be cheap.

@ListerLawrence The arrogance of assuming that those of us with EV’s do not understand about petrol & diesel cars. In my 50 years of driving I have owned petrol, diesel, FWD, RWD, AWD, air-cooled, water cooled. The best two cars ever have been my last two cars, both EV’s

@ListerLawrence Nice car, expensive to run? You forget that we had gas guzzlers before we switched to EV. A lifestyle choice. Clearly you’re sufficiently well off to pay extortionate motorway prices for fuel. I need a coffee stop every couple of hours, so charge my car during my break. Easy.

@Kevin_Maguire Are you suggesting Madame Guillotine for King Charles and Queen Camilla? Thats part of the story with Versailles, and would probably bump up visitor numbers but it’s rather drastic. There is plenty of bling at Donald Trumps White House, so careful what you wish for.

@FreddyFrost @TeslaInTheUK Their money, their terms. I get your sentiments, but so many networks, Instavolt, Osprey, Ionity, Gridserve, Shell, MFG, etc, Tesla are hardly a monopoly. I can make it from the Midlands to the S of France using only ‘open’ Tesla. Which I do as they are cheaper & reliable

@Jenny_1884 Agree, I would pay an extra penny on income tax to pay for this. This would benefit low earners of any age. Just needs fettling the threshold to a sweet spot. It can not be efficient to collect very small amounts of tax, particularly from people with no other taxable income.
