@MarkoMatvikov Tradies were deliberately carved out by these traitors to help unions and maintains house prices. If media didn’t have the memory of a goldfish they might better prosecute these scum

@Dan1963Dan @StevePHolland Yep, but plenty don’t feel comfortable with a 5% deposit so probably need another 150k+ for 20% deposit.
Most funds would have been running at ~8% balanced and maybe 11-12% high growth.
Not unreasonable to get 20-30% CAGR on asx, plenty get higher.
@Dan1963Dan @StevePHolland Anyone trying to save for a house deposit these days is or at least should be investing their money to grow their savings.
These changes cut the legs out of the most sensible and accessible investment strategy to save for a deposit.
@David_McMahon75 This would be absolutely shocking.
Is it clear that the cost base on real & nominal losses are not indexed?
Seems absurd.
Surely the real gain/loss would be booked at the end of the period for all disposals? Not just those that made a real or nominal gain?!
@bowtiedstocks This is why the mooted cgt changes based on cpi indexation is garbage. Actual inflation is way worse and the true “real gain” is much less than reported.
@ausnotes@samstrades The longer this goes the more convinced I am this mad immigration and Burkes ideas here, are borne of malice against Australia. Not long ago, I would dismiss this as conspiracy theory, but honestly, of all the explanations, it fits the best. Think they’re all compromised!
@Crocodylus121@cmkusher 100%
I remember this - they were practically bragging about how many people they were approving in the early days: clearing the “backlog”
