downsizing to #50daysofproduct bc: 1) can’t talk about the work i do, bc if i did, it would be super vague, and therefore not provide value. 2) want to divert my attention to other projects ASAP. product still entices me, so i’ll keep learning, but posting only for 23 more days.
day 27
excerpt from @RRumelt’s book: “when a product gives a buyer an advantage in competition with others, there will be an especially rapid uptake of the product.” eg: visicalc (1979) giving MBAs/financial analysts an edge over others.

@Vaishnave_JP@yuvanarvind i think customers are definitely prone to bias and when it comes to being right, they typically know what they want out of a product/how they want the experience to feel. it’s up to PMs and devs to aptly translate customer needs to technical product specs/features.
day 26
how do you avoid bias as a PM? i thought about this, bc as PMs we manage “our” products. so how do you objectively point out it’s flaws? this piece by vishal bagla aptly summarises an effective way to manage products w/o bias.
