Paid off our home in 8yrs. Never carried any other debt allowing us to cash flow educational expenses for children. Consequently did not have as much in savings/investment accounts loosing out on significant appreciation there. Flip side is home ownership security and debt free children with high professional earning potential as they are starting their own families. Now at 60, working towards rental property and passive income streams with few regrets on how we’ve used our finances. But I have questions.

Ben, from an intuitive perspective, somewhat earned from a BS in Geology, I would suggest that the model of displacement that seems more likely is that the crust and mantle both move (ECDO style) rather than just the crust moves (EDC style). If just the crust moves, I don't see much of anything that was lucky enough to survive the waves, surviving more than one or two generations beyond the event - and either there are survivors, or we'll have another creation all over again. If just the crust moves, a greater surface area of friction/destruction is occurring vs if the movement is deeper within the earth. Additionally, that deeper movement will be along boundaries that are more fluid than the rigid crust. Again, I'm not well read enough to offer more than this opinion based on a degree I earned 35yrs ago. Having learned about Hapgood's theory back then, having followed your channel and read the papers you site daily (when I have time - don't have HSAM), having just finished RC's "Diversion", this pursuit is both fascinating and urgent. If there is an exit wound is dependent upon mass and velocity of the round. CoreLock is most widely sold as 150 or 180 grains. Either of which combined with the velocity of a 30.06 will pass through a human neck every time. The reason it is called CoreLock is because the copper jacket locks the lead core in place, preventing the lead from fracturing into many pieces while creating a nice mushroom head that makes a much larger exit than entry.
