The team must make the transfer optional, offer full refunds, or provide a marketplace to sell our names. We shouldn't be forced into a different product.

$AO Token Trading Volume Update (As of 2025.2.21, 00:00)

On February 9th, @aothecomputer officially launched the AO mainnet, and $AO tokens began trading.

🔹Current price: 46 USD
🔹FDV (Fully Diluted Valuation): Close to $1 billion
🔹Circulating supply: Approximately 15%
🔹Market cap: $150 million

The majority of $AO trading is currently taking place on the native AO ecosystem DEX—@Permaswap.

Since $AO launched, the total trading volume on @Permaswap is about $16M, with a liquidity pool size of $4M.

Another DEX in the AO ecosystem, Botega @autonomous_af , has seen around $5M in trading volume, with a liquidity pool size of $2M.

Additionally, two centralized exchanges—@MEXC_Official and @LBank_Exchange—have launched pre-market trading for $AO.
However, since neither platform currently supports deposits or withdrawals for $AO, price distortions are significant, and trading volumes remain low:

On LBank, $AO is priced at $65, with a cumulative trading volume of around $285K.
On MEXC, $AO is priced at $35, with a cumulative trading volume of around $215K.

Currently, major exchanges have not listed $AO yet, but I believe it's only a matter of time.

36% of $AO tokens are allocated for airdrops to $AR holders, including exchange addresses.

This means exchanges hold a significant portion of $AO, which gives them an incentive to participate in the game.

The key issue lies in the AO network's current immaturity. Although the official mainnet launch was announced on February 9th, node access has not yet been opened. All nodes are currently operated by the official team.

Due to limited network resources, transactions are experiencing delays, which is preventing many traders from entering.

According to @aoTheComputer's official Twitter, a node access release event is scheduled for the 25th.

After the release event... there’s another one. This 'catch your breath' release strategy... I’m honestly a bit overwhelmed by it.😂

Looking at the mid- to long-term, the application potential of the AO network could reach the scale of ICP (@dfinity), with much more room for growth.

If we benchmark AO’s market cap to ICP’s, a reasonable price for $AO should be over $200. Not financial advice, DYOR.

Some important projects in the ecosystem to watch and get involved with early:

@ar_io_network, Token: $ARIO – Arweave’s gateway infrastructure providing fast data read/write services for AO ecosystem applications.

@FusionFiPro, Token: $FFP – AO’s DeFi construction standard and interoperability protocol. The leading DEX @Permaswap and lending protocol @lagent_AO are both built on FusionFi.

@apus_network – AI infrastructure in the AO ecosystem, aiming to build a GPU computing power marketplace within the AO network.

The first two projects have already launched tokens, and their prices surged right after listing—getting in early is key.

Personally, I’m excited about $APUS.
@samecwilliams, the founder of Arweave and AO, is placing a lot of trust in this project, believing it will provide the foundation for running AI applications on the AO network.

Keep in mind, the AO network is currently quite congested, so patience is required when trading.

You might need the mindset of "do inscriptions" to catch new tokens.

Hopefully, once node access and the Gas mechanism are live, this will be resolved.
