This picture symbolises to me a lot of what is wrong with TB control. 11 separate letters arrived in the post this morning to say “of the 91 animals slaughtered after testing in Jan, 0 VL’s found!” I now have 8-38 days to schedule my next SIT with vets who book up 4-6 weeks out.

@Brentingbyfarm @Si66T @WelshGovernment The complexity of control and sensitivity / specificity of different testing procedures is fully understood. But the lack of joined up thinking and level of unnecessary box ticking makes a difficult situation hard to live with. Slow decisions at Apha and tight deadlines on farm!
