I got the Pfizer COVID vaccine today. I am thankful for the hard work from politicians, scientists, physicians, and trial volunteers who have afforded frontline health care workers this opportunity. I am fortunate to have received it so close to its EUA. A thread:

- Adverse events noted in the trials were in line with event rates of the general population
- Anaphylaxis is rare and our treatment of it is much better than our treatment for COVID
- My reaction to the second shot will likely include fever, headache, fatigue; not = infection
