A timelapse view from our @SpaceX Dragon of the spectacular southern aurora seen in yesterday’s post, a result of a recent solar event. As opposed to the previous aurora I’ve seen, this one danced and snaked its way directly below us, putting on quite a show. I am in awe of this ethereal and emotionally evocative phenomenon.

ESA will implement an astronaut mission to the International Space Station for the Czech Republic with @vast 🇨🇿👨‍🚀

Member of @esa's astronaut reserve @astro_ales is planned to serve as the mission’s pilot and would become the first Czech astronaut to visit the International @Space_Station, alongside ESA astronaut @Thom_astro as commander. The mission is planned for no earlier than 2027.

Již není třeba držet tajemství. Český záložní astronaut ESA Aleš Svoboda (@astro_ales) bude pilotem kosmické lodi Crew Dragon při komerční misi PAM-6. Velitelem mise bude francouzský astronaut ESA Thomas Pesquet. Z evropského pohledu jde o unikátní misi a roli jejich zástupců.
