Education Ministers met in Sydney today to discuss important reforms in education.
That includes our half a billion dollar investment to strengthen safety in child care, the reforms we’re rolling out as part of fixing the funding of public schools, our national anti-bullying plan, and next steps on curriculum reform.
Also great to be joined by David Gonski AC the Chair of the Antisemitism Education Taskforce to hear about how we’re strengthening antisemitism education and understanding of Australian values in schools.
@PaulineHansonOz Oh Really, ever seen the damage of a coal mine, or understand Coal mining and coal ash produce severe, systemic health risks across their lifecycle. Coal dust inhalation causes respiratory and cardiovascular disease, risks of cancer, organ damage, and developmental disorders.
There is no place for racism or any type of hate in our universities or anywhere else.
That’s why we’re changing the law so unis will have to act to prevent racism and respond when it happens.
Cigar for me! I got it absolutely right. Hanson's support has fallen another 3 points.
But, tell us again, how the "monoculture" speech was great?

It's not only humans that are affected by the growing climate crisis. This Horse had already been rescued but ran back into wildfires to save its family. ❤️

Bullying is different to when we were kids.
The internet means it can follow you all the way home.
Education Ministers are taking action to tackle bullying in schools.
It’s one of the things Ministers will discuss when we meet this week.
Sarah Martin rubbishes Barnaby’s China conspiracy theory on Telstra’s outage & points to the real issue
“Telstra was privatised”🎯
“Telstra has fundamentally failed in its obligations to the country, coz it has no obligations to the country, only obligations to shareholders” 💥
Charlotte O’Brien, a 12 year old girl lost her life to bullying almost two years ago.
It’s something no parent should ever have to go through.
Her parents Kelly and Mat are incredible people.
They could have crawled into a ball.
But they did the opposite. They created a foundation and they have led work to fulfil Charlotte’s wish to make sure what happened to her doesn’t happen to anyone else.
We will continue our work to make Charlotte’s wish come true when Mat and Kelly join Education Ministers this week.

Bugger. He was a good man. A bit mad at times, but he cared and wanted to make things better. I liked him a lot, and I’m very sorry to see him go. https://t.co/FcVHdwwMmQ
So @Telstra was actually WARNED that this monumental stuff-up could happen. And they did nothing. Truly, it is the most incompetent company in the country. https://t.co/ylEV47ghZL
