What’s the wage gap in your state? @NPWF has you covered! This #EqualPayDay, check out our analysis of how closing wage gaps would help women and families afford child care, health care and more. https://t.co/7Zk98Zbmt3
This #EqualPayDay, @NPWF recognizes that wage gaps are even larger for women of color, with Native American women typically paid 51 cents, Latinas 54 cents, Black women 64 cents, and AANHPI women paid 80 cents for every dollar paid to white, non-Hispanic men.
The medical certification process to go about getting #paidleave can also take time, and can affect those who don't have access to a printer, computer, and then becomes another barrier to accessing #paidleave. - @1stShiftJustice#genderequality
While having #paidleave is really important, workers have ongoing care needs beyond needing paid leave from work. And a lot of that is up to their employers. - @1stShiftJustice#genderequality
