As much as I wanted Bain, it goes against everything in my nature to pass on a good pass blocker on the offensive line. Lamar is the most important player on this team and protecting him helps the offense (and defense)

Really appreciate @VasilisLerikos beating the drum on positional value, draft value and cap allocation. Something many fans ignore, but the reality is, you only get so many picks, only have so many cap dollars, and only have so many roster spots. Positional value matters.

@Bmore2025 @VasilisLerikos @FilmstudyRavens I don't think @VasilisLerikos is a Lamar apologist. Vas is a staunch supporter of put your salary cap and draft capital into the highest value positions: positions that support the pass game and stop the pass game.

All of the running game stuff is of less value. That simple.

@HuddleItUpFilms I guess it depends on how you view Carson Vinson. Based off of what Ken has said, Vinson seems like a viable backup. We will get more live reps for him in the preseason.

But agreed, tackle is such an important position to nail.

Hidden in this whole mess are tweets saying the ravens restructured Lamar's deal and pushed 40m down the road. Pretty disappointed if they didnt get a new deal done and just did a simple restructure.
