The smartest macro voices disagree on everything. Timing, severity, which assets to hold.
But strip away the surface and they're all arriving at the same endgame from opposite directions.
AI deflation hits a debt-based system. The math forces the printer. Hard assets win.
The only disagreement left is timing. And the clock is running.
really started questioning if I want to move back to Germany at all
it would great for family (my son being close to grandparents again etc) but everything else just keeps on telling me i'm not really welcome as an entrepreneur
the latest berlin election is another sign that people just haven't learned anything from the past
we need innovation and growth but all signs point in the other direction
it feels like the economy needs to get so bad that people literary feel poor again but this could take some time
it makes me very sad, this is my home country, my native language and i still feel deeply connected to it
I want my kids to have grandparents around
but it also makes me so angry to see a country just butcher it's economy
I want to feel valued in a society by contributing as an entrepreneur
it's entrepreneurs who create jobs, who create change, who drive countries foward
but it really is a mind virus that most Germans have lost their appreciation for this and only want the Nanny State to become bigger
it will just lead to more entrepreneurs and companies leaving to more pro business countries
global mobility has never been easier
it's all so tiresome really
I'm Italian. My wife is Chinese, born in Beijing.
Many of you have asked how to visit China for the first time. So we sat down and prepared this 101: which cities, in what order, and how to do a first trip properly.
We are both international. She studied in the US and worked in Hong Kong, then Europe. I've lived in more countries than I can count. We know well what most of you will look for in this trip: this is the advice we give our closest friends.
The short version: start with Beijing and Shanghai, leave Shenzhen for a second trip, and don't treat China as a one-week destination. And mind the weather: avoid peak summer and peak winter.
The good news: you are going to luxury you have probably never seen, better than Dubai, at a fraction of the cost.

@E_Boeminghaus Geht im ERP customising genauso. Gerade im Bereich und bei offeneren System kann man mit Claude und Browser MCP schon alles “selber machen lassen”.
@RoaringRagnar Keeping the position, not upsizing. Worst comes to worst this will be used for loss harvesting for tax offset. Unfortunately, i have no confidence in this anymore and written off the position in my mind. Entered on the way down, unfortunately.
@_DannyKnowles@jackmallers Interesting that he now talks down on KPI like Bitcoin per Share when initially XXI launched with this exact metric as key target.
I wish you and your family all the best! Have been following you since 2015 on the investors podcast. Those discussions on my commute to university were forming how i think about investing. I followed along into this deep rabbit hole and have gone full maxi and I will be forever grateful! Thank you! Godspeed!

Die Erfinder der 12-Uhr-Tankstellen-Regel halten sich für kompetent genug, die deutsche Wirtschaft umzubauen und den Klimawandel zu stoppen. Keine Pointe.
Ah, but remember, they live in a “full democracy” and we live in a “dictatorship”.
I’m sure the people who make the freedom and democracy indexes will be updating them immediately.
