Ramanujan’s lost notebook is a trove of around 600 mathematical formulas, discovered in 1976 by the mathematician George Andrews. The manuscript, spanning 87 unpaginated, disheveled sheets, had remained hidden in the depths of the Trinity College library in Cambridge until Andrews stumbled upon it. The findings brought to light another dimension of Ramanujan’s mathematical prowess that had remained untapped and unexplored for decades.
