@planefag I like how the text of the MOU was made public yesterday and this guy is saying trump has caused America to enter permanent psychological decline. I don’t think I’ve even spoken to anyone about the war since a couple weeks into it. This isn’t something on peoples minds.
@Korpiklan36@SnoCoPW US flag code stipulates that flags no longer fit to fly should be retired and destroyed respectfully, preferably through burning. This has always been a thing.
@Xxweedking@TheMeanAverage@SnoCoPW US flag code literally stipulates that flags unfit to fly should be respectfully retired through burning. If you simply through a flag in the trash you are doing it wrong and it’s disrespectful.
@Jcockmann@SnoCoPW Yknow this is how flags are supposed to be retired right? When I was in scouts like 15 years ago we did something similar to this, although I believe we cut the stripes first. Flags are meant to be burned respectfully once it is no longer fit to fly.
@IrradiatedGoon@deserteagle291 He was not ordered to stay out of North Korea. He was explicitly given permission by Truman. If he had gone ahead with that without authorization he would’ve been removed from command way earlier.
@PubyWax@TPatbat I mean I’ve spent the last 2 days reading Brits in the replies of various quote tweets of this shit talking and arguing with Americans while defending this abomination. My favorite was Brits saying the only reason we don’t like this is because we need everything filled with sugar
@raptor4916@spqr_sulla Well they want to destroy the people making them and free all the synths. I guess that doesn’t conflict but it is kinda weird that they have no interest in continuing synth production or anything since they view them as just as human as real humans.
@spqr_sulla I guess they are but they always struck me as poorly written because as far as I can remember they didn’t write any flaws in. They just kinda exist as a militia tho you can end the game with other factions without destroying them so I guess they don’t necessarily conflict.
@spqr_sulla Of course the railroad doesn’t need to have a good ideology, as long their conclusions are sensible, which I do think they did a good job at, although they don’t really do anything to show how they could be wrong (prob because their ideology is a self insert by the devs.)
@spqr_sulla Literally only the brotherhood and railroad have compelling ideologies. The minutemen are just “help everybody” with no further thought. The railroad at least have a genuine ideology where they want to free the synths even if it’s retarded.
@memeticsisyphus I’m a history education major and I literally had a day where my teacher brought a woman in who gave us rocks, coloring books, and stickers and talked to us what to spend time worrying about. I still don’t know why, it had nothing to do with anything else.
@elephant_ben@SRamirez68083 Societies like Russia who did exhibit that behavior were decidedly not capitalist. Russia only really had industrial capitalism in a couple cities prior to 1917.
@elephant_ben@SRamirez68083 Best part is that I can’t really think of any capitalist societies that actively did this any more than any other society, meaning it only happened during major crisis points. In fact capitalist societies were the first in history to essentially defeat Malthusian pressures.
@WhittakerBilly@MaxNordau@SeanMcCarthyCom passports rather than just a few recovered ones? There are other ways to determine their identities, and they released the identities of hijackers whose ID wasn’t found. Why destroy their story by publishing recovered passports for only a few guys?
@WhittakerBilly@MaxNordau@SeanMcCarthyCom The plane didn’t just crash and crumple up inside the building or something it was literally obliterated and pieces of debris went everywhere. That guy’s passport was just one of the pieces. If they were trying to trick us by showing us their passports, why not show all of their
@WhittakerBilly@MaxNordau@SeanMcCarthyCom There was a lot of stuff recovered from people in the plane, and many parts of the plane were launched multiple blocks. One piece of a wing was found in 2013 1300 feet away.
@WhittakerBilly@MaxNordau@SeanMcCarthyCom I like how every time I tell you it was launched out of the building by the force of the impact you return to telling me it should’ve been burnt up by a fire on top of the WTC while it was on the ground. It wasn’t in the fire retard.
