#macrosw empowering chat! I have found that these chats keep me engaged in my overarching goal of bettering the lives of others!!

[Sara Wessels @25Wessels]

@TheMattSchwartz @socialworkcomm @sjw_killjoy I think this is a valid point, but it may be harder to put into action when your household depends on the paycheck. #playingdevilsadvocate

[Sara Wessels @25Wessels]

#macrosw social work is aiding resistance through advocacy, but it's hard because social workers don't have credit they deserve to be heard

[Sara Wessels @25Wessels]

@About_MyBizness Right! I used to degrade myself for taking a break. Now I appreciate the breaks and allow them to be a refresher

[Sara Wessels @25Wessels]

#macrosw Netflix is also a huge aid in self-care. I get to tune out for a bit

[Sara Wessels @25Wessels]

@mvscott475 Yes!! Our youth are the future, we need to invest in them and promote acceptance in the social groups

[Sara Wessels @25Wessels]

@bri_reedy @SunyaFolayan @OfficialMacroSW Me either! I feel it is easy to get caught up in the whirlwind rather than paying attention to the facts

[Sara Wessels @25Wessels]

@SWDan89 I suggest a social worker hike at the end of the semester!!

[Sara Wessels @25Wessels]

@mvscott475 Can we please do all of these together? #Self-care

[Sara Wessels @25Wessels]

#MacroSW I have recently started a bullet journal and it's wonderful! I also try to find joy in the small things.

[Sara Wessels @25Wessels]

#MacroSW I'm excited to listen to all of these powerful songs!

[Sara Wessels @25Wessels]

@adraglan I agree! This can be frustrating and discouraging!

[Sara Wessels @25Wessels]

[Sara Wessels @25Wessels]

@spcummings I feel that my next step would be educating myself on policy and issues faced by the LGBTQ community to better serve my clients

[Sara Wessels @25Wessels]

@spcummings A5. Driven. #MacroSW

[Sara Wessels @25Wessels]

@spcummings A4. That being a part of the LGBTQ community can be life threatening, but it shouldn't be

[Sara Wessels @25Wessels]

@spcummings schools should be a safe place, we should work to eliminate the idea that bullying is a part of the high school experience!
