@SAS Worst airline customer service experience ever - bags have been missing for over a week now for flight from HAM to SFO via CPH. No ability to reach any human being except for the automated tracking app. One bag delivered after 7 days, but app shows both.
@ENirenberg @BioTurboNick Nitriles are quite common in marketed drugs - ranging from anti-diabetic (Galvus) to breast cancer (Arimidex). Nitriles are metabolic quite stable which is in advantage in drug design
@BioTurboNick Same in biotech/pharma industry - the salary differences between people in reporting structures can be even bigger than in your academic example
@DanielRMoody Because science rarely has black / white answers but most of the time many shades of grey. And many people don’t want to invest in understanding complex issues which can’t be easily described in 2-3 sentences
@DanielRMoody @AZLobo The combination of mortality rate with infection rate (combined with infection path) is important - and there aren’t many worse combination than covid
@DanielRMoody @AZLobo You are completely ignoring the timeframe - not many new diseases caused 5-15 million deaths worldwide in about 18 months (and likely many, many more without the vaccines
@jmtnsnow @JV2O21 @EricTopol 500 pediatric death in 1.5 years on covid are already higher than flu death in kids in the last ~20 years on average https://t.co/QHCLEcl6C0
@RicciLily @davideyoungmd@EricTopol I work in this field and are very well aware on the newest research results and there is no scientific evidence that corona virus are causing cancer at this point - everything else is just pure speculation
@RicciLily @davideyoungmd@EricTopol Your comment “who profits from cancer” on Eric’s post about pan covid antibodies seem to indicate that pharma wouldn’t be interest in it because they would be afraid that it would cut into their cancer drug revenue
@RicciLily @davideyoungmd@EricTopol But we can’t use it as “evidence “ for big pharma conspiracy theories from you. Yes, viruses can cause cancer but that doesn’t mean every virus is doing it. We should use science and not conspiracies
@BioTurboNick Difficult to compare JNJ data with Pfizer as done at different times with different mutations. Pfizer trial run at the same time as JNJ might have similar numbers
@DanielRMoody Trump was the most destructive preseident of the US ever and so these are the consequences of his behavior and it is way too early to forgive/forget what many people have done whi blindly supported him
