@WandileSihlobo Unlucky timing! Our research project with UKZN kicks off next week. Back in PE the following week though. The outcomes of the research will be of interest to you as well as the work we are doing with ShopRite/Checkers on co-digestion. Mind if I drop you an email?
@WandileSihlobo Only my pleasure. He and I have spoken quite a bit about you and the work you are doing. Keep up the good work bringing SA & Africa ag back to its glory. Next time you are back home in EC a trip to NMU would be beneficial to see the research being done.
@ryanssking1@Nozzels@wintonARK Thank you, finally some sense and science and not hysteria. DCs are a major issue where I'm at, electricity and water are finite resources and infrastructure bankability isn't there however, they are not an issue for the US and building them should be a priority.
@WeatherProf Ditching fossil fuels is only possible if there are alternatives in place. A circular lens is required to make this happen, but rewiring thinking is an uphill battle. Developing countries will lead the way on this then developed will follow
@mark_barnes56 It's crazy that it's mutually exclusive! The private sector is ready to help and there are trillions available to deploy, but a point of no return is quickly approaching. Bankability is tethering, at that point begins the death spirals, as you appropriately termed them.
@PresidencyZA@CyrilRamaphosa This is the Africa Energy Indaba all over again.. wind and solar are fantastic but will not solve SA's energy resilience challenges nor address the waste issues impacting munic across the country. Circular systems must be the focus
@MoJaviDesert32@FabrizioRomano That's a Mohamed Mansour move for sure! Love the African connection too with Right to Dream.. what a power move that would be for SDFC
