@BexBookaholic Oh lawd Iβd be a nightmare Iβm always wandering about upstairs in the nuddy! Back when we had a window cleaner I had to hide under a windowsill on the landing for ages π³
@Anagazo@Steve_Davis_UK@Gav_Griffiths They picked a suspension part as it had previous advisories but they faulted a suitably vague section and their βsuspension guyβ wasnβt there to do a quoteβ¦ Their very specialty and they couldnβt give a priceβ¦definitely felt like a quota thing.
@Steve_Davis_UK@Gav_Griffiths Hell no, Our local one is a deceitful bunch of bastards who failed my car MOT and I got my money back when it passed with no work done the very next day elsewhere. They couldnβt even make up a quote for the supposed repairs.
@_JennShelton Fairly tinny speakers but the screen is OK. Gadget Centre do refurbished and gussied up laptops, you can specify everything and say what you are using it for. Β£500 would get you a really nice one.
@_JennShelton Iβve got the cheapest HP Windows laptop that they sold at about Β£150 and itβs light and Iβve used it all day every day since August without issue. I just use it for Excel and Word and online work. Honestly itβs completely fine.
@WalkerMarcus I had Specsavers refer me to the local eye hospital, arrived, had the blurry drops, they lost my notes and almost a working day later I gave up and went home in a taxi because couldnβt drive. It was just normal floaters. Months later still fine.
@BickleyLouise@RetirementTales I wasnβt allowed one because they had the crash worthiness of a rich tea biscuit. Always wanted to try the weird gears
