@ELHopkins Our doctors and hospital including the blood test centre both have mandatory masks no mask, no get in unless you can prove you are medically exempt and not just by saying you are.
I think saddest thing this pandemic has shown us is that all the hoopla about βhuman lives come firstβ has always been BS. Most ppl are fine with ppl dying every day or getting disabled, if that means they get to keep their quality of life.
@ELHopkins We do, I can only hope all the filters in school keep it at bay for us, time will answer that one though. For now we're incredibly lucky that they do have them.
Itβs a worry, that an infection that kills more than any other is now on an unprecedented 3rd wave in 6 months and there is virtually no engagement from our leadership or the media.
You may not change what you do, but surely we should be informed enough to make such decisions?
1/5 Iβll happily be corrected but is the pandemic still the *only* identifiable reason for increase in π§ MH problems? (See news article tweet 2). Not sustained long term underfunding of other services coming home to roost? Eg, counselling. Not poverty, hunger, bad housing?
@natalieben@teamsquarepeg@NotFineinSchool Thank you for what you are doing. I'm a parent on the sharp end of a child who is so anxious she's medicated but with no other help. attendance woman rang 7 times yesterday knowing full well I was doing my best to get her into school.
@ELHopkins It's terrible how so many have been forgotten and left behind I've had to lie to get my 4th dose even though I should be on my 5th now being immunosuppressed. Nobody seems to care that our lives have shrunk to 4 walls and if we do go out we're stared at in our masks.
@ClaireCozler@BarristerSecret@BorisJohnson Just heart breaking Claire not how it should of been at all, but many will thank you for keeping to the rules. Sending love your way β€
@ClaireCozler@EnemyInAState Isn't it just strange my mums a bit the same her favourite food is chicken and chocolate not together π but she can't eat any anymore, living with a chocaholic who can't have chocolate is hell on earth π€£ hugs to you x
@ClaireCozler@EnemyInAState Aww it's not fair and you're completely right on everything.
I'm becoming allergic to the world or so it seems it's everything, what I'd do for a gin I cant say & now it's contact with sugar and we literally breathe it here. I never used to be like this so something has changed
@ClaireCozler@EnemyInAState I know exactly what you mean everytime I get an infection shingles creeps in time after time.
I think the sick and poorly are in for the long hall now especially those with more unusual infections, it's unfortunately going to be just a way of life for far to many x
