When young people marry, the man marries the woman she IS, while the woman marries the man he should BECOME.
Dissatisfaction occurs when she changes too much, and when he changes too little.
@Seanfrank You shouldn’t fly private across the continent until you are worth $200m or more. That’s when it starts to just barely makes sense. $500m is a lot more reasonable. At that point you have a min of $1m/month of income and the convenience of a private jet is undeniable.
Spencer Pratt got 0 out of 24,000 votes in a late night LA ballot drop.
0/24,000
A guy getting around 30% support got 0 out of 24,000.
Astronomically small probability of happening.
Impossible.
California no longer even hides it.
Doors need to be kicked in.

A big pivot from Ken Griffin on AI:
“Number one is, in the last few months, there has been a step change in the productivity of the AI toolkit. It is profoundly more powerful than it was just nine months ago.
And for us at Citadel, that has allowed us to unleash a much broader array of use cases for AI. And it has been really interesting to watch, to be blunt, work that we would usually do with people with masters and PhDs in finance over the course of weeks or months being done by AI agents over the course of hours or days.
These are not these are not mid-tier white collar jobs. These are like extraordinarily high skilled jobs being, I'm going to pick a word, automated by agentic AI. And I gotta tell you, I went home one Friday actually fairly depressed by this because you could just see how this was going to have such a dramatic impact on society.
When you witness it in your own four walls, when you see work that used to be man years of work being done in days or weeks, it's like, wow, like that's the first time I've seen real impact in our four walls.”
This echoes my own experience with agents and the conversations I am having with students, friends & clients. The toolkit has dramatically transformed and it feels like in finance, for the first time, AI is real.
50% of all murders in the United States happen in 2% of the counties
Our favorite Canadian living in the United States explores the statistic
Guess which counties and cities
10 months ago we were feverishly launching Natuary. One of the last things we did before launch was build out email flows. A vendor offered to do it but wanted points in the company for that work LOL.
Claude does it now.
After CBS embarrassed Karen Bass by fact-checking her debate lies about the Palisades Fire, they clearly got the call. CBS filmed with me on my burned out lot for over an hour, and they turned it over to Karen Bass’ PR team to edit it into a comical 5 minute hit piece with clips from the Hills. They can’t beat my ideas, they can’t beat me in the debates, so they gotta try to turn my campaign into a sideshow. People are done with these skeezy political tricks, and I’m done with CBS. They’ll never get a word from me for my next 8 years as mayor. Adios! What outlet should I have in their absence?
@TechGuyDave_ This data warehouse is unreal. There’s a river of strategy flowing out of its insights. I need to do this with my other businesses and probably my personal life too.
Replacing expensive software: I built a data warehouse a while back using OpenClaw but data streams were challenging to connect and keep connected.
So I built my own app to connect all of them, OAuth flows, everything.
Now I have a dozen different data feeds in an SQLight database. Shopify, Klaviyo, Quickbooks, Shipping Charges, Fulfillment Costs, GA4, Google Ads, Meta Ads, all my fulfillment + shipping + influencer codes + Product COGS...
Layering in analysis...should be interesting
@SEALspouse I don’t think the domain host matters. Go daddy should be fine. I can’t imagine there’s a website that would be a problem to adjust. It’s pretty simple. HTML is about as easy as it gets (coming from a guy who used to be a carpenter) lol.
Web designers are cooked.
I know zero code but I built and deployed 10 web pages today into a live environment for my team to review and comment on. I already had the copy but everything else built in just a couple hours through the CLI interface. That includes 5 or more rounds of edits.
Totally and completely cooked. It makes edits as fast as it writes you an email. I’ll give it ten changes and they are live in 20 seconds. Refresh the pages and there they are. That would be a 48 hour turn for my web designers and they would act like they are doing me a favor.
Absolutely incredible. From an idea to a reality in minutes. Probably a $5k build that I got for $20 in a platform subscription and another $20 worth of Claude time.
@SEALspouse@WallStreetApes My honest take: The belly fire comes across strong on the episode. He doesn’t sound authoritative or executive though. Well intentioned but inexperienced. I hope he gets in and shakes things up.
