@GeneAylett That phrase comes from a mistranslation of the Greek and is not in any way or meaning racist. Except in your mind and use of language is different . https://t.co/NCA3YMaaS6
Zoom disabled the accounts of a group of Chinese dissidents in the US after they used a video conference to commemorate the Tiananmen Square massacre https://t.co/9FQpmPOYEe
If you are a 70+ year old pensioner in Bath , and and on a sunny Sunday you go for a walk on the tow path or the Botanical Gardens, maybe instead of complaining that people won’t give you space you should have chosen quiet areas or as advised stay in doors......
@BathLabourParty Statutory Sick pay is paid in full by employers , no money can be claimed back from the government, So as far as self employed are concerned they can either have insurance to cover it or claim universal credit
@jimofbath And it always will be it seems.. some people are all to quick to throw terms such as “xenophobic” and “little englander” at people and companies with nothing to back it up other than their own unfounded prejudices.
I wonder if the Bath “Blogger” will ever apologise for calling a national supermarket chain “Xenophobic little islanders” in a recent tweet of his falsely accusing them of withdrawing his favourite butter. Guess not as he even followed up his initial tweet with another!
@BathCA@michelledonelan Ok I’ll give you 15 minutes to name the science minister, and post her relevant qualifications for the most important roll in the U.K. science and tech space
@BathCA Over , it’s not over , your bunch have to now get trade deals that UK business will accept or business will leave, and that means confirming to regulations and standards, try importing to the US it’s not simple as all states have different regulations, But yeah it’s over .....FFS
One and a Half months after the GE I note with interest that both the Labour and Conservative candidates who were so “passionate” about Bath haven’t been heard of since. They scuttled away quicker than a cockroach when the lights turned on. Even their parties don’t mention them
@ASPolice vehicle unloading on Milsom St. Asked that it should be moved. Received verbal abuse. Unloading to the @ivybathbrass and was sworn at by someone at reception. Not my expectation of a quality restaurant.
Why would you vote against this? RT : MPs have voted against New Clause 10 being read a second time, by 344 votes to 254.
This new clause would have required the Government to seek to negotiate continuing full membership of the EU’s Erasmus+ education and youth programme.
To @UKLabour
Its simple
Vote for who you like as leader, be nothing more than a unelectable protest group that keeps telling the voters they are wrong when they don't vote Labour
Or
Vote for someone you know is electable/liked by the voters, so you can roll out good policies
