Even Robert Downey Jr. told Nolan that the villain he was playing in Oppenheimer was actually the hero; many historians have said that the portrayals were inaccurate; but of course that didn't stop Nolan from screen-raping his ideological enemies in 2022.

At that time, Biden was flooding the country with illegals, seditious left-wing radicals inside the govt were waging war on Trump and other Americans, and you were a Nazi if you were a Republican, etc.

And Nolan was like: we were too mean to the communists, I'm actually going to smear everyone who opposed them.

LMAO just at the time when the communists were persecuting conservatives, Nolan was saying we went too hard on the communists.

You really can't make this up.

But no, it was just a totally normal and neutral film to be released at just that time.

Just normal artistic expression to make almost every single conservative alarmed by a communist trying to publicly undermine America's nuclear program -- which was intended to deter apocalyptic communist aggression -- appear to be buffoons or psychopaths.

Also just a totally neutral artistic choice how Nolan erased every trace of heroism and humanity in Dunkirk, too -- turning it into a grinding parade of horrors that no normal human would choose to watch twice -- and played atonal-like horror music over Churchill's heroic speech, making even defending civilization against the Nazis seem suspect.

But of course. Of course. Dunkirk was a "survival story". It was meant to be a "suspense thriller", Nolan says in interviews. It's not political.

Yeah it really is curious how it's just such a neutral artistic choice to make it a "suspense thriller" when that artistic choice leads to making every heroic act during the film seem futile, meaningless, and unjust, which also happens to be the theme of Oppenheimer and many of Nolan's other films.

Very curious how so many these neutral artistic choices point at the same underlying message.

Which is: give up.

It's not political at all, of course. It's just a movie. Just like casting Helen of Troy and making Achilles trans and using Emily Wilson's radical feminist translation.

It's just a movie. LOL. Which is why when u criticize it, nobody cares, nobody defends it right? Nobody starts verbally abusing you when you criticize it, because it's "just a movie", and nobody would get upset over "just a movie".

Well here's my real opinion. These aren't just movies. They are political. And it's not just history.

Because if you won't defend the past, you won't defend the present.

Nolan's overwhelming theme in his films:

They called his factual, experience-based warning “Islamophobic.” They demanded the board punish a VETERAN for protecting his community.

This is the audacity of the machine.

They want to build parallel societies on our soil.

They want to import people who reject assimilation.

They want to silence the few patriots left who still have the spine to say: “Not in my county. Not on my watch.”

James Reid is not the problem. James Reid is the solution.

He is the kind of man this country was built on - men who’ve seen the darkness of Sharia up close and refuse to let it take root here.

@cricinfo I have trouble taking non tournament international matches that seriously. I like T20, but only test seems "important" outside of a tournament. India won the last two t20 World Cups, these are just friendlies. India remains #1 until the next WC.
