Found roaming the streets alone, this sweet 2-year-old now spends his days trembling in a shelter kennel, unsure of what comes next. He doesn't bark for attention or beg to be noticed. He simply sits quietly, hoping someone will give him a chance.

🥺 When his kennel door opened, Taz didn't try to run. He just sat there shaking, trying to understand why he was there.

We're still on a Black Dog Roll, let us present to you TAZ.

Taz's face is a heartbreaker. Taz's story is just as sad. Yes he was a stray, but his apparent owner walked into the shelter and dropped the leash and walked out.

How can anyone be so heartless. How can anyone do this to a living being.

Taz was just another dog in an overcrowded, noisy shelter. Scary for any dog not used to chaos.

He was avoidant and in his kennel it was reported he curled up in a ball and faced the wall. Heartbreaking for sure.

We found a very generous and caring person that saved him and now acclimating him back to home life. She enlisted in dog walkers that we know who are loving and patient and they are trainers as well. This is all to help him gain his confidence and show him not all people are horrible.

Welcome to the next phase of your life Taz.
