With the help from our infield coach @b_szink12 I have created a Google Drive with 300+ videos dedicated to infield, outfield and team defense. If you have interest in something like this, hit the RT and I will reach out on how to access it. Preview below:

Congratulations to Ryan Lopetegui on the CCCAA award. He also showed some defensive skills, saving at least three runs with diving catches that week. 👏👏👏

Been writing my notes for practices and scrimmages in the dugout. Even the worst practice days can be productive ones. Always teaching.

Brendan White sits down with Trevor Thompson to reflect on his Major League Debut and how he rose to the big leagues as a 26th-round draft pick.

@drivelinekyle I love it! I started coaching at NE Seattle LL too, same age group. 👏👏👏

@Kneebuckler15 @G_Rodriguez16 @Drew_Rom10 @whoisnickv @bigmiikee @Orioles Who knew you actually cared and put effort into what you do and the players you work with? I never would have guessed. 😂
That was a well written article. I hope you save it for your sracpnook.

@JonMeoli Great article on a great person.

One of the first coaches hired in the Orioles rebuild has been among the most impactful.

Meet Justin Ramsey, the Norfolk pitching coach who built trust with and influenced a generation of young arms.

@xanbarksdale Wally Kincaid. He coached guys like George Horton, Rick Vanderhook, Dave Serrano, Don Sneddon and other great college coaches at Cerritos College. I got to talk baseball with him several times and still use some of his philosophies. Imagine being with him two full seasons?

[David Yamane @32DHY]

@Carlos96munoz Awesome to see those with the knowledge and experiences sharing and developing players at the younger levels. Thank you for giving back.

[Trent Mongero @CoachMongero]

5 years ago I wrote these thoughts. What I know now, that if I could go back, would share with my younger self…as a HS/college player. I know the writing is small, but hope it can help someone on their journey.
What keys would you add to the list?

@JWonCATCHING West Point has their Retreat Ceremony and players will stand at attention regardless of what is happening on the field. Pretty special to watch and appreciate. You know they have discipline to other life priorities than baseball.

3) Practice and the off-season is supposed to be difficult so the games are easy. We put in the work and can just go play in the game. No pressure, just trust the work you put in.

[David Yamane @32DHY]

Thank you to @Brendan_White37 for talking with the LA Harbor College Baseball staff this weekend. The energy and enthusiasm was noticeable. Pitchers stayed in the clubhouse discussing what they got out of the talk.

2) Everything we do needs the mindset of “we get to”…as in “we get to lift weights to better prepare for our next outing”, “we get to run sprints to get explosive for our next pitch”.

[David Yamane @32DHY]

@Challenger_ST Those of us that have coached a while are supposed to pay it forward and mentor aspiring coaches with the hope they surpass our knowledge and teaching ability to keep this game fun and competitive.

@Emvalenz @LBDirtbags He is the reason the “Dirtbags” are the “Dirtbags”.
