@MomaBera btw just saw a tweet implying this topic might be about something you recently went through. My replies have been generalized musings, I’m sorry if people are treating you with cruelty at a vulnerable time, I wasn’t trying to discount that ‘rape discourse’ is often like that
@MomaBera Ya of course, that would be an incredibly insensitive thing to say to someone who just went through such a bad experience. And I’m pretty sure what someone was wearing isn’t usually that relevant to risk of getting raped (or robbed of course)
@Amduat9@nosilverv I mean pretty close to just yes, right? In the same way that someone had to be the first person to call something a 'chair'. It's an oversimplification to imagine it happening all at once out of the blue, but basically yeah
@kartosiewicz pretty solid slander. This is how almost all sexuality in Japanese media tends to sound to me but they still manage to cook pretty hard sometimes
@NathanpmYoung@xwanyex@grok There’s an obvious problem with taking a reaction as proof of a problem, but at the same time it does seem like relevant evidence. Unless it’s just too noisy to be worth factoring in
