The July 2026 edition of the 3D Spotlight is now available.
This edition brings several major updates together in one place, including the next step in the 3D Community model, the launch of 3D Instructor School, and the first national 3D Culture Summit coming in 2027.
Each of these will have its own full campaign in the days, weeks, and months ahead, but we wanted to give you the full picture now.

We’re excited for this new university partnership.
University of Wisconsin–River Falls will begin offering a for-credit course built on the 3D framework in the 2026–27 academic year. Led by Jacob Anderson, Head Strength & Conditioning Coach for the UWRF Falcons, this adds to a growing list of 16 colleges and universities using 3D across sport, education, and business.
If you’re connected to a university and want to help bring this to the next generation of leaders, please reach out to [email protected].

Culture is either organic or architected.
In an organic culture, you get whatever grows (good or bad).
In an architected culture, you get what you intentionally build.
On May 27–28, 2026 in Gainesville, GA we will partner in hosting the Culture Summit for Educators. This experience is designed to help district and school leaders intentionally shape their culture using the 3D Framework.
Bring your team.
Build your roadmap.
Leave with clarity and momentum.
3DI is grateful to partner with Pioneer RESA, Franklin County School System, Hall County Schools, and Moody Leadership Consulting LLC to make this opportunity possible.
Limited seating. Register early.

5,000+ coaches strong. The OSAA: Beyond the Scoreboard course has gone beyond compliance to significance, earning 4.6/5 stars after over 5,000 reviews. By adding inspiration to the information, @OSAASports turned a “got to” into a “get to.”

At @JonGordon11’s #TrainingCampLive, we were reminded that we are always:
- in a storm
- walking out of a storm
- about to walk into a new storm
Sean McVay said it first. It was echoed and amplified by @DilfersDimes.
3D Coaching is about helping people navigate their storms.
Goals are powerful, so they must be handled with care. They are effective because they narrow our focus. This is helpful for progress, but if our focus becomes too narrow, it causes us to lose sight of the bigger picture.
When transactional decisions are made purely to achieve short-term success, it will begin to harm relationships on the team and undermine our foundational purpose.
Short-term goals should act as stepping stones toward our long-term aspirations. But if we don't zoom out regularly to keep our purpose in view and use it as THE filter for our decision making, those stepping stones can turn into stumbling blocks, setting us back instead of moving us forward.
When your purpose becomes your primary filter for decision-making, hard decisions often become simple. Simple is certainly not the same thing as "easy," but your purpose will faithfully light the path forward.
For the past 3 years, we've been hard at work developing 3D training and resources for leaders in Education to go along with our Sport offerings.
An early adopter of 3D Coaching for Education was @BWROE4 Superintendent, Scott Bloomquist.
This video showcases what might happen when a team of 3D leaders unite in purpose and use the 3D framework to transform their school's culture.
Well done, Scott and team!

When people go through our 3D Coaching training, it impacts them in unique ways. And when we team up with amazing people like @Gian_Paul_G, that impact only gets amplified. #allin#coaching#grateful
Great coaches are firm, but they are also flexible.
Glass is an example of a substance that's extremely hard and rigid, but these same attributes make it extremely fragile and brittle under stress. Due to its LACK of flexibility, it's easily shattered once enough pressure mounts against it.
Don't let this metaphor define your leadership style.
