@DriveBC This incident was already in-progress Saturday at 11 pm (multiple ambulances, police, and fire vehicles) and now on Sunday at 12:30 pm it continues. What is going on?
@GlobalBC My wife just boarded a plane in Chicago mid-day Friday heading home to Vancouver and reports a “ton of Swifties” onboard and an impromptu sing-along broke out before they even pushed back from the gate. 😂
@iamkennethchan Asides from people going to work, there’s likely over 100 thousand high-schoolers and university students reliant on Translink…and they just lost 2-3 days of education this week from snow closures. Now a bus strike to disrupt them next week?
@JanetBrown980@jarmstrongbc About 2 hours non-stop (1 per 3 seconds) in Lougheed Mall area of Burnaby, then started to diminish around 10:30 pm, quiet before midnight.
@TransMtn why have your staff hand-deliver these letters to area residents on Sep 2, and then no crews on site Sep 4 to pave the road? I mean, it’s only gone 6 months beyond the original “opening Q1 2023” deadline. Didn’t know it takes a full year to lay 200 m of pipeline. 🙄
@Patrick_Wyman Bought a Toyota Sienna new in 2007, still going great in 2023, with 165K miles. I’ve been a field-trip parent-driver for my kids and classmates from kindergarten through to grade 12 out-of-town varsity sports. Have hauled fridges inside and passed trucks going up mountains.🤷♂️
@MikeSmythNews@CKNW Excellent job VPD! A knife is a deadly weapon. Wielding one outside a nursery? Doesn’t get much worse. She’s lucky she only got hit by a bean-bag and not a rubber bullet or cold steel!
So, @Rogers, today was the day I was advised to call @PassportCan to request my kid’s file be transferred to a local office after waiting 3 months. We fly in 10 days. Guess which network Passport Canada uses…
@MicMcCulloch Fraser Health mass-vaccination sites allow folk to wear respirators (N95 / KN95 / KF94). I’ve been to three different centres in Burnaby and Surrey. Never an issue.
@danreddick@richardzussman@TeriMooring I’ve been wearing N95 while I teach since September 2020. And no, you don’t need it fit-tested. A non-fit-tested N95 is still far-superior to all other masks.
@chrisgailus@steeletalk@VCHhealthcare Strange. Got my booster at the Surrey North - Fraser Health site yesterday. Very smooth, hundreds of people but no long lineups. My 11:35 appointment was right on time. 🤷♂️
