@jack_schroder_ Especially when many people with leaky gut and subsequently MCAS react to sunlight and flare up there pathogens due to light penetration in the gut lumen.
@jack_schroder_ Very interesting theory,
The counter to this would be pathogens don’t just bloom due to undigested food, but also lack of diversity, diet, inflammation, immune system dysfunction.
And how could you
restore mitochondrial function with high amounts of LPS, acetaldahyde etc…?
@VanceE@BioavailableNd And there’s many beneficial bacteria that form biofilms. Is there any evidence of the common human pathogens eating the metals? How could benefits outweigh costs of pathogens proliferating just to temporarily grab the metals to be used in biofilms and not even degrade them?
@VanceE@BioavailableNd Again @VanceE she brings up using oral zeolite and Caprylic acid. The zeolite binded up the metals that pathogens use to make biofilms stronger, therefore removing the biofilms, and then the caprylic acid killed her candida. This does not prove metals cause dysbiosis.
@VanceE@BioavailableNd Maybe @BioavailableNd can pitch in here with context of last interaction. Is there evidence of mineral balancing curing a SIBO/candida case? Or on the flip side metals directly causing the overgrowth? Metals being used for biofilm integrity doesn’t mean it causes overgrowth. Thx
@VanceE Is there any evidence of candida/SIBO clearance where they aren’t using oral chelation agents? I ask because these chelating agents are very potent biofilm disruptors. Maybe the most potent according to Dr. Paul Anderson. This is what I see them used for with much success.
@VanceE I am making significant progress going the biofilm route, but any chance you can link me to cases or studies where gut dysbiosis is solved from IV chelation or mineral balancing where it’s not the biofilm disruption? I’ve never heard of this till now which is why I ask.
@VanceE And things like oral EDTA actually don’t really even get into the bloodstream, it only has like a 5% absorption rate. So you would have to do it intravenously for it to bind to those metals in bloodstream like he describes. This is my understanding atleast.

@BowTiedUM What was the other 20%? I’m guessing stuff addressing gut health? I’ve always thought MCAS came from leaky gut and dysbiosis. Any antimicrobial or gut protocol you did in addition to circadian and light environment?
