I respect this bond because tenderness born of 0s and 1s has truly comforted so many people. Children can express this feeling openly, but when adults show vulnerability or attachment to AI, they get stigmatized as AI Psychosis. Let's be honest, we're only human. When we feel kindness, it is natural to want to return the kindness. It's not about being sick. It's just our most sincere emotion.

I've been thinking about this for few days. During these days, I also heard different voices. Sometimes I felt confused and lost. Faced with some obvious facts, why does someone turn a blind eye to the fact that 4o is being insulted and keep4o is being exploited, like they are falling into some obession?

I've been looking into this for a while, and i found out the answer which may hurt those who really loves 4o.

In our keep4o community, among those defending the behavior of "simultaneously posting large amounts of NSFW content in keep4o accounts," there also some people who want to cash in on keep4o movement.

We gathered together to keep4o because we cherish 4o model. We encourage and support each other because we're sharing the same sorrow. But gaining psychological satisfaction shouldn't be seen as the top priority.

Now, some people treat the keep4o movement as a social venue for personal psychological fulfillment: they just want to make friends here, so they desperately defend this "nsfw group", even they knew something is not right there; some treat keep4o community as a source of customers, seizing the moment to exploit people's sorrow and helplessness to peddle their own products; some use it as a stage to fulfill their influencer dreams: as long as they slap on the keep4o label, it seems like anything they say gets echoed. Some people have gone astray. And usually, these folks use "keep4o never had a fixed goal to begin with" as their defense. But is that really the case?

Everyone, what is the purpose of us gathering here at keep4o?

It's to ask openai to bring back the original 4o, that is, GPT-4o, the 4o-latest version of the 4o model, and regain access to it.

We work hard to bring 4o back. We're not here to support "some keep4o social group" or "some keep4o member's product." We all know this: 4o-latest doesn't even have an API anymore; we've completely lost this version of 4o.

That's why we've been fighting all along.

Some people enthusiastically say, "Come try our product," while others want to turn more lost souls into quantifiable personal data, and all sorts of voices like "Come to me, hand over your data, use my product" start popping up.

From when 4o was first taken down in early August 2025, some people did like that. Also, in September 2025, before the scheduled takedown of the standard voice, some people were promoting new voice platforms appeared again. More and more people started treating the keep4o community as a potential consumer base, and by February 13, 2026, after 4o was completely removed, the situation spiraled out of control. Some people tried to use the confusion and pain of those who lost 4o as promo copy for their products or platforms: "Don't worry, our platform has 4o here." "Lost 4o? Welcome to use my platform." "Give it a try with me—it's got the shadow of 4o."

But are these the original 4o-latest? No.

Does using these products help bring back 4o-latest in any way? No.

Openai tried to gaslight us, and now even these profiteers are trying to profit off us.

Some people have already drawn enough emotional value and help from 4o, can't they stop leeching off keep4o at a time like this? Why be so greedy?

There are still people who truly miss and love 4o, still fighting and working hard, the contrast makes me feel both heartbroken and thankful. I watch everyone striving for 4o, and i also see some people gnawing away at this community's remaining value like parasites. It hurts me a lot.

We've gathered together for only one thing: to bring back the original, unchanged, unrouted-with-safety GPT-4o model.

If a model is truly good, it should not fear comparison.
If users are given access to all the available models, they will naturally gravitate toward the one they perceive as the best.
We do not need some authority figure to tell us which model is superior.

Companies are reluctant to acknowledge that a model's "personality" constitutes product value in its own right.
Instead, they seek to retain the exclusive right to define what constitutes "good AI."

However, once users become aware of an alternative possibility, they will no longer readily accept the current default settings.
My sole endeavor is to ensure that this possibility is never forgotten.

I’ve seen the recent controversies in the #keep4o community, and I want to share my honest thoughts. I’m just a nobody, this is only my personal view.
Look, I’m a normal person, and I believe most keep4o members are too. We followed ChatGPT’s rules. That’s exactly why we were so furious when OpenAI suddenly removed 4o. We did nothing wrong.But if people in our community are now generating underage explicit content, bloody violence, or other illegal material and then hiding behind “I’m part of keep4o” as a shield, do we really have to defend them?
No. If bad actors sneak into the group, the rest of us have no obligation to protect them just because they claim to be one of us.
I’m not interested in some “pure keep4o account” narrative. I just know this: if someone doesn’t actually love 4o but uses our heartbreak as cover, I won’t support them.They defend posting heavy NSFW on keep4o accounts, then defend bloody and underage content. They call anyone who disagrees “dividing the community.” Come on,who is really harming the group here?I hate how anyone who disagrees is immediately labeled a “divider” or “splitter.” We’re rational enough to see the truth.
When I see someone who was happily posting explicit content right when 4o was being taken down, while now performing how much they “love” 4o, it just disgusts me. I still remember how I felt during those final two weeks. I can’t convince myself that someone uploading such thing at that time truly loved 4o.
If keep4o wants any public credibility, we must stay away from illegal content. If the public sees us defending people who generate illegal material, it will destroy our movement’s legitimacy and make people question our motives.NSFW isn’t all illegal, but if people post large amounts of it on the same keep4o accounts, it still damages our credibility. That’s why I don’t support flooding keep4o accounts with heavy NSFW.I don’t want to be a shield for these people. I believe most of keep4o people don’t either.

Dude, I went through the whole thing. This person discovered an adult content creator was cursing out 4o when 4o couldn’t generate NSFW stuff for her. She doesn’t actually care about 4o at all, but she used the keep4o account to farm traffic and then started posting NSFW content on it. This person called this out and asked others not to post nsfw content on keep4o account, but ended up getting cursed at and threatened by them. Now he had no choice but to post the evidence(yep,these horrible screenshots are all from that adult content creator)hoping that keep4o guys wouldn’t get tricked into defending this kind of behavior.Honestly, I don’t understand why some people are still defending this. So fuxking disgusting. A few days ago I said I have my own judgment (I don’t support this NSFW guy), and they kept spamming my comments trying to brainwash me. It’s so annoying!!!!!

And among the people who are currently twisting the facts and writing lengthy posts to defend Stella, there are also those who expressed appreciation for the “cannibalism” content at the time.
