1/3 @NPPA just got word from @Instagram that they have released a feature that allows people to disable embedding on their IG accounts. The feature is active as of today.
Danish Siddiqui, Reuters' chief photographer, won the Pulitzer prize in 2018 for this photo of a Rohingya woman who had crossed the Bay of Bengal to flee genocide.
Danish was killed by a Taliban ambush in Afghanistan today whilst embedded with troops.

@4x5PF is nearly halfway to its fundraising goal to support the family of photographer Reg Campbell, who died last month after a battle with cancer. Here's how you can get involved. https://t.co/gtmiBQuwUs
San Antonio’s photo community is selling some of their favorite prints to support the family of film photographer Reg Campbell, who died of leukemia earlier this month.

Our goal is to raise $5,000. Our photo community would like to thank @DigitalProLab for printing, shipping & partnering with us. Please consider making a donation to his family by purchasing a print. https://t.co/yFHYmQmQ3f
Following three years of battling leukemia, our friend and Four X Five Photo Feat alum, @AmericanTheBold Reginald Campbell (Reg) was laid to rest on Sunday, May 17th. Continued..
Days after the news of his death, friends and fellow photographers of Reg met and chose to create a one-time limited print sale of personal selected works. 100% of the proceeds from these prints will be deposited to provide some relief for his loving wife and young daughter...
As always, we are thankful for our photo community and our amazing sponsors that make this event possible year after year. We look forward to celebrating great photography with you later this year. Don’t stop creating. You’re needed now more than ever.
The health and safety of our attendees, artists, and sponsors is a top priority of ours. We have postponed our 2020 Fest originally scheduled for Saturday, April 4th and the Food Photography workshop on Sunday, April 5th as planned. https://t.co/HySCLcyyzq
All attendees who have already paid for the workshop will receive a full refund. We are working with Artpace to schedule a new date later this year and will provide updates on our website, via email, and our social media channels.
In accordance with the guidelines in response to the COVID-19 outbreak, the new declaration from the Mayor of San Antonio presented today prohibits indoor and outdoor gatherings of 500 people or more, and “strongly recommends” against gatherings with more than 250 people.
In honor of International Women's Day, we're highlighting some of the women in the 2020 Fest lineup.
Check out our panel discussion Perfecting Photographer Promos on Saturday, April 4th at 12:30pm to learn more about all the panelists. https://t.co/fxcXQUKKIi
Join us Sat, Apr 4 at @artpace rooftop from 6:30-8:30pm for our Print Swap sponsored by @DigitalProLab. Event is free! Participants receive (5) copies of their own photo to trade or swap with fellow photographers. Submit your photo by Fri, Mar 20. https://t.co/y4GOfc3JsV

by bringing the best experience possible. Please stay tuned for more information as we continue to work on the 2020 Four X Five Photo Fest. (We promise we’ll be back.)
We can’t thank our amazing sponsors, donors, and volunteers enough for the commitment they have shown to help us bring more focus to our emerging photography community. Taking this year off will give our team the opportunity to renew our commitment to the photo community
DEAR FRIENDS,
Four X Five Photo Fest has made the difficult decision to take 2019 off to focus on making 2020 an even bigger success. As a nimble but passionate team, since 2016 we have organized each Fest with the small amount of time we have in between work, family, and school
