No Kings
All Cringe

Demonstrators dancing at a “No Kings” protest today in Chicago

[Jeff ⚓️ @5stringTex]

@plainstriumph @iowancapreborn She is, in fact, quite representative of her constituency in this matter.

[Jeff ⚓️ @5stringTex]

Virgo Mortensen? The Western movie actor?

[Westerns & the Old West @DavidLambertArt]

Happy 68th Birthday to Viggo Mortensen

[Jeff ⚓️ @5stringTex]

@brvsgirl84 I believe it. It was only the player's union that made the league pay attention to concussions.

[Jeff ⚓️ @5stringTex]

@ExileTheology @SeatcoverHudson Yes, the same eligibility requirement as exists for the President.

[Jeff ⚓️ @5stringTex]

No duly elected member of Congress should be eligible for deportation.

[Aaron Rupar @atrupar]

it's pretty f'd up that the Trump administration is trying to deport my duly-elected member of Congress

[Jeff ⚓️ @5stringTex]

This might be the most inside libertarian joke there is.

[Doc Brown, Wer-Boi Autumn 🍂🌕 @Altphilologe]

"What is Arepo?"

[Jeff ⚓️ @5stringTex]

I passed this sign more times than I can count on the Indian reservation near Tacoma.

[Garbage Human @GarbageHuman24]

LMAOOOOO 🤣

[Jeff ⚓️ @5stringTex]

@TheMuppetPastor Semper Fi, buddy. You've got a big family out there. 🫡

[Jeff ⚓️ @5stringTex]

@thomas_garrard Happy birthday! Here's to (at least) 44 more!

[Jeff ⚓️ @5stringTex]

@MasonSCraig Not just acceptable, but correct. One should not end a reading from the Apocrypha with "The word of the Lord."

[Jeff ⚓️ @5stringTex]

@TheMuppetPastor Also, some divorces occur when one partner wants divorce but the other doesn't. In such a case, the second partner is not yo blame for the divorce.

Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?

[Complex @Complex]

Florida’s former gambling addiction helpline director has been sentenced to nearly 10 years in prison for stealing $1.4 million from his former employer to fund his gambling habit.

Philip Lee Sullivan, 43, later became the head of the state’s gambling helpline, where he spoke with hundreds of people struggling with addiction. He was also ordered to repay nearly $1.5 million, while his defense argued that prescription ADHD medication contributed to his gambling behavior.

@skyredpillguy @AnneOfTheBooks Great book.

[Jeff ⚓️ @5stringTex]

@AnneOfTheBooks It depends on where they're coming from, but Ever Ancient Ever New was useful to me coming from low church evangelical Protestantism.

[Jeff ⚓️ @5stringTex]

@FiatLuxGenesis Where is today's Martel?

[Jeff ⚓️ @5stringTex]

@KenShepherd I have written myself on for every office on the ballot except for President.

[Jeff ⚓️ @5stringTex]

@weatherchannel As it turns out, it's natural for the sun to be overhead at noon and for days in the winter to be shorter.

[Jeff ⚓️ @5stringTex]

@LiteralSheridan You scrambled twice?

[Jeff ⚓️ @5stringTex]

@AmericanPolack I'm glad that vaccine has been developed! While very few people died from thr chicken pox, shingles is caused by the same virus, and both diseases can now be avoided with one shot.

[Jeff ⚓️ @5stringTex]

This was commonplace in the 1980s.

[2001 Live @25YearsAgoLive]

Numerous parents in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania are under investigation after hosting “chicken pox parties” for their kids, in which one child who has chicken pox is ordered to mingle with others, so as to infect them all and give lifetime immunity.
