I just saw an article the other day talking about banning cell phones in schools.
And I just want to wholeheartedly say I agree with this phenomenon.
There is a mental health crisis amongst our youth relative to previous years.
It was definitely triggered by school closures, COVID, and having our kids isolated with virtual learning.
It used to feel like a controversial thing to say, but I think we can all agree...
there's been some bull sh*t happening in terms of our kid's development.
We're now seeing lawsuits from school boards regarding this issue.
The impact that social media has had on our youth is truly understated.
And I'm a big fan of actually doing something about it.
As an example, banning cell phones in schools for our youth.
For the kids, it might feel extreme but that doesn't matter because we need to consider what this is doing to their brains.
And what it's doing to their overall mental health.
Let's take action.
But on the flip side, we as parents could also limit our use.
Let's be an example for our kids.
And I promise you good things will happen.
For real folks.
Repost if you agree. ♻️

WPS understands the importance of mental wellness for their staff. So today, Murphy and Whiskey from the St John Ambulance Therapy Dog program stopped by so put some smiles on faces around the station.
