Does Cllr Tim still live in Esher as he’s representing Weybridge? He was always one for cross party collaboration to get things done so what a shame a Tory colleague has given up on this
Congratulations on your win David. We will be working hard, as Tim Oliver suggested, with SurreyCC to improve life amongst the traffic here. I’m sure you will be on our side in pushing for change, now you’re part of the authority that controls the highways.
@LewisDavidJ@esherresidents I think the idea of local Cllrs working together was one your party supported but not you apparently as you just want to take snide pot shots and give up before trying to do better. So sad and disappointing
Amazing team effort and with so many more ERA posters up in Hersham Riverside and Longmore too. Shame the name wasn’t more inclusive when they messed about with the boundaries. Other EBC wards have joint names so it’s not impossible.
This is a terrific result. @DavidYoungERA has worked so hard on this Nigel. No, we won’t forget Hersham. We have Christopher Goldsack on our Committee and another great helper there too.
Very pleased to report that all our candidates in #ThamesDitton#HinchleyWood and #WestonGreen plus our #Surrey County Cllr Nick Darby have been elected with large majorities - see https://t.co/tLLJ4gVGVz
Thanks for your support
Delighted to see so many people keen to have their voice heard in Esher today. Shame no party other than ERA “telling” at any of the polling venues. Great to chat to people as they leave and get their views.
To protect Sandown and the green belt in Esher vote @esherresidents for Elmbridge & @ElmbridgeLibDem@brucemcd23 for Surrey on Thursday. You could call it a winning coalition in Esher to PROTECT #greenbelt and STOP @ElmbridgeCons & @RobertJenrick expansion on green belt & Sandown
500 reusable TD Boomerang Bags face masks given to officers/volunteers at all polling stations @ElmbridgeBC to wear instead of SUP ones. Not political. We must fight plastic pollution - 1.6bn plastic masks going to UK landfill every month @PlasticFreeTD
This hated scheme will be foisted upon us by the #chumocracy. Can you believe that our #Green Belt and Common Land are safe in @Conservatives hands? No, nor do I.
Many people have asked us, while canvassing, when @RobertJenrick’s decision on #sandown will be. His Communities Dept has announced it will be between 7-11 May. Just AFTER the local elections. How quaint. If it were good news he’d have announced it BEFORE the elections
I don’t think I’ll ever comprehend why choosing to offload infected patients back into care homes, & then leaving them to die grisly deaths, minus breathing apparatus or pain relief, after spreading the virus, wasn’t the curtain call on this Government.
