@nationalrailenq Well the 12.07 delayed train arrived (without notice again), got onโฆhowever, now had to stop at Loughborough as there is smoke coming from it!

Just had an extremely constructive meeting with Michael Gove, the new Secretary of State for levelling up and housing, about the way forward with the planning system. We agreed the planning system must work in the interests of residents rather than developers. Watch this space.

Is it normal to scream, cry & swear on dog walks? Every time I walk past this tree, I apologise for manโs failings. It stands there so proud & majestic not knowing that itโs fate is hanging in the balance. It breaks my heart. How can anyone take a chainsaw to a tree?? How?
