The decision to hand over the Kangpokpi ambush investigation to the NIA must not become another delayed process that ends without accountability. We demand impartial, transparent, and time-bound justice for the brutal killing of our pastors and innocent civilians.

The killings of Rev. V. Sithlhou, Pastor Paogoulen, Rev. Kaigoulun, and many other Kuki-Zo civilians have caused deep pain and fear among our people. Their deaths cannot be treated as ordinary incidents. We demand that the NIA thoroughly investigate the role of all armed groups allegedly involved, including NSCN-IM, ZUF (Kamson Group), and any other militant networks, and identify every individual responsible for planning, supporting, or carrying out these attacks.

For more than two years, Kuki villages have faced repeated violence, killings, displacement, intimidation, and destruction. Families continue to live in relief camps while many perpetrators remain free. Justice delayed is justice denied. The people of India deserve to know the truth, and the victims deserve justice under the Constitution of India.

We urge the NIA, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, National Human Rights Commission, and the Supreme Court of India to ensure that this investigation is conducted without political pressure, ethnic bias, or selective treatment. The guilty must be arrested and prosecuted according to law, regardless of their affiliation.

We are not asking for sympathy; we are demanding justice, accountability, and protection of innocent lives. The blood of our pastors and civilians must not be forgotten.

URGENT APPEAL FOR LIFTING OF ECONOMIC EMBARGO AND RESTORATION OF EQUAL HEALTHCARE SERVICES AT DISTRICT HOSPITAL, KAMJONG

The Kuki Students' Organisation, Kamjong District is constrained to issue this press statement to highlight the grave humanitarian crisis prevailing in Kamjong District.
For more than 05 (five) months till date, an economic embargo has been in force against Kuki civilians in Kamjong District. This has severely affected the lives and livelihood of the general public, especially patients and vulnerable sections.

Compounding this crisis, the District Hospital, Kamjong which is the only hospital serving Kamjong Block remains inaccessible to the Kuki community. In view of this, we place the following points before the authorities and the public:

1. A hospital is established to serve all patients, not any particular community or majority community. Denial of medical services on communal lines violates the basic right to health and the Constitution of India.

2. As the District Hospital is the sole medical facility for Kamjong Block, and since Kuki people are being denied access, we demand that the Government immediately establish a separate hospital for the Kuki population at Chassad.

3. Due to the ongoing embargo and denial of access to the hospital, even newborn children are unable to receive essential vaccinations. This has put the lives of infants and other vulnerable patients at serious risk.

4. The Kuki Students' Organisation, Kamjong District holds the State Government solely responsible for any loss of life resulting from denial of medical treatment and from the continued economic embargo.

We therefore earnestly appeal to the District Administration and the Government of Manipur to:

1. Immediately lift the economic embargo that has been in place for over five months.

2. Ensure non-discriminatory and equal access to healthcare for all citizens at District Hospital, Kamjong.

We trust that the competent authority will act with urgency to uphold the Right to Life, Health, and Dignity of all communities in Kamjong District.
