نقل محامٍ زار مدير مستشفى كمال عدوان في قطاع غزة، الدكتور حسام أبو صفية المختطف في معسكرات التعذيب الإسرائيلية ، شهادة صادمة تكشف حجم التنكيل والتعذيب الذي يتعرض له؛ إذ بدت على جسده كدمات بليغة تركزت في الرأس، والرقبة، ومحيط العينين والأذنين، لدرجة بات معها التعرف إليه أمراً غاية في الصعوبة.

وقد ظهر الطبيب الأسير واهناً يعاني ضيقاً حاداً في التنفس، وعجزاً عن التحدث بشكل متواصل أو حتى التوازن والجلوس دون سقوط، فضلاً عن تملّكه خوف قيّد قدرته على التعبير خشية مضاعفة التنكيل به.

ووفقاً لإفادته، فإن العنف والضرب الممنهج يلاحقانه يومياً داخل عزله في قسم "راكيفت"، مما تسبب في فقدانه الوعي مراراً؛ حيث كان يُنعش في كل مرة بجرعة ماء ومسكنات، ليعاد تعذيبه مجدداً فور استيقاظه، ليختتم كلماته بصرخة استغاثة تملؤها خشية حقيقية من أن تكون هذه الزيارة هي الأخيرة له قبل تصفيتها.
