@WxScholl Ngl, this was a stupid idea. Romantic, probably but they ended up getting themselves arrested. Not sure it was worth having that happen and ending up with a record. Plus whatever sentence they get handed for doing this. The building has packages to propose at the site legally.

@dubsinfive I don't prefer this but the crap you deal with when it comes to winter far outweighs what you will deal with here. Snow, having to wear many layers, ice and the fact that stuff lasts for days on end then its just cold. Imo life is far more miserable in the winter. SPRING FOREVER!

@nilwxreports I remember after this thing went through(my area got very lucky) and seeing parts of trees everywhere. We lost one thin tree that really brought my front lawn together in this. I remember seeing it bent over during one of those. Can't remember which day.

@nilwxreports I prefer spring overall but ya summer you can get a lot more done for sure. Winter that stuff stays around forever and it actually slows you down a lot even without snow, ice etc. Even in the heat I can do things much much quicker.

HOLY CRAP! A storm in South Dakota is producing winds up to 131 miles per hour. That is nearly the equivalent of an EF3 tornado (136mph) That is absolutely ridiculous.

This also includes lemon sized hail, which will produce devastating property and crop damage at wind speeds like this. If you know anyone in the path of this, tell them to stay weather aware. The storm is just southwest of Aberdeen, South Dakota.
