#RTI#Relpy#

🔴Private sector logic cannot be blindly applied to public service. A bureaucrat is not just an employee , they are part of a system meant to serve citizens without fear or favor
🔴No doubt there is always exception too
🔴 You are absolutely right.
🔴 However in some organisations, nationalism matters more than money.

Even if 50-60 LPA is given to scientists, there will always be private players ready to pay 1-2 crore.
This is my personal opinion
DRDO opened applications for Scientist, requiring 3 to 11 years of experience. Basic pay ranges from ₹67,700 to ₹1,23,100, plus allowances such as 60% dearness allowance.
Even for senior roles, total gross pay comes to around ₹2.4 lakh per month. India wants top engineers and researchers to build critical defence technology, yet many private companies pay ₹50 lakh+ a year for similar talent. Then we wonder why brain drain continues.
Only reasons people still join are job security, government housing, pension benefits, and the expected 8th Pay Commission salary hike.
Dear fellow Indians,
Please have a look at the salary of General duty medical officer and others given by AIIMS Delhi. Kindly compare it nursing staff
I wonder what AIIMS want to say to people of India and doctors community.
Also I am confused on why some figures look like monthly salary and some look like annual salary.
I would be happy if any one clarify me on it
🔴 From January 1, 2016: 125% of basic pay (this was the rate at the start of the year, following a 6% increase from the previous 119% in July 2015)
🔴 From July 1, 2016: It was enhanced to 132% for Central Government employees and pensioners who continued drawing pay in the pre-revised (6th CPC) pay scales/grade pay after the 7th CPC implementation.
🔴The 7th CPC recommendations were implemented from January 1, 2016, with the old DA (125%) merged into the new basic pay. New DA under 7th CPC started at 0% and the first hike was 2% from July 1, 2016.
🔴 Employees who opted to or continued on the old 6th CPC structure (a small number) received the separate 6th CPC DA hikes (up to 132% from July 2016 onward).
@8thCPC_update@grok@Grokipedia I have a question
after implementing 8th cpc DA will be 0%
But 2026 jan 2% DA hike and july ~3% DA hike
Suppose we get 8th cpc from jan 2027
Then what is the DA from 2026-2027
Does we get that DA hike?
🔴 Government Doctors
🔴 Medical Officers are recruited in the government at various levels based on their specialization.
🔴 They are also involved in teaching as tutors, lecturers, or professors.
🔴 The minimum salary level is Level 9 for newly joined doctors.
🔴 And yes you will join in new 8th CPC salary Structure.
🔴 The 8th Pay Commission is our right
🔴 It is a salary revision that takes place after a long gap of 10 years
🔴 Once the 8th CPC is implemented, the entry salary will remain the same for the next 10 years, i.e., until 2036
🔴 This revision is important to match rising inflation and living costs
🔴 Government employees deserve fair and timely salary updates
🔴 A proper pay revision boosts morale and work efficiency
Middle class is getting robbed by this government
• Ethanol subsidies, petrol profiteering, and corporate incentives.
• Foreign education for political families, while students face paper leaks and failing institutions.
• 8th Pay Commission benefits for government employees, while private-sector taxpayers struggle.
• Tax cuts and incentives for investors, but rising taxes and costs for the middle class.
What did the middle class get?
• Unaffordable education
• Expensive housing
• Rising food prices
• Costly fuel and cooking gas
• Unemployment and job insecurity
• Toxic air to breathe
• Zero meaningful social security
• Repeated paper leaks
• Little accountability for failures
Accidents, scams, leaks, corruption, and mismanagement—yet hardly anyone is fired, jailed, penalized, or even apologizes.
The middle class pays the bills. Everyone else gets the benefits.
Here's the year-wise DA comparison:
**6th CPC (2006-2016):** DA from 0% (Jan 2006) to 125% (Jan 2016). Regular hikes every 6 months, often larger (4-10%) during high inflation years like 2013.
**7th CPC (2016-2026):** DA from 0% (Jan 2016) to 60% (Jan 2026). Slower initially, COVID freeze at 17%, then catch-up from 28% (Jul 2021) onward.
Key context: 7th CPC basic pay is ~2.57x higher (Level 5 starts ₹29,200 vs old ~₹11,360 for GP 2800). A 2% hike now adds more in absolute rupees than a 6% hike did then. Each hike % simply tracks the 6-month inflation (AICPI) of that period. The mechanism neutralizes cost-of-living rise in both.

@8thCPC_update The DA we are getting less than what we got in 2013
Example
In 6th CPC 2800 GRADE PAY EMPLOYEE HAS BASIC PAY 8560 AND 2800 GRADE PAY
8560+2800=11360 IN JAN 2013 DA HIKED 6% WHICH IS 682 rs
In seceni CPC 2800 GRADE PAY HAS BASIC 29200/- NOW 2% DA HIKE WHICH IS 584 rs
