Before the 1950s, clover was a STANDARD component of American lawns.
Seed mixes included it on purpose.
Then broadleaf herbicides were invented.
They killed clover along with "weeds." So the chemical companies rebranded clover as a weed — to sell more herbicide.
That's it. That's the whole story.
Clover is not a weed. It's the future of your lawn.
White Dutch clover (Trifolium repens):
Self-fertilizing — fixes nitrogen from the air into the soil. No fertilizer needed. EVER.
…and it feeds the grass around it for free.
Drought-resistant — stays green when grass goes brown.
Bee paradise — constant blooms from May to frost.
Chokes out weeds — dense growth shades out weed seeds.
No mowing needed (stays 4-6 inches) — or mow monthly.
Soft underfoot — kids love it.
Costs $5-10 to overseed 1,000 sq ft.
How to add clover to your existing lawn:
Overseed in spring or fall.
Scatter seed (2 oz per 1,000 sq ft).
Water lightly for 2 weeks. Done.
Stop using broadleaf herbicides (they kill clover).
Stop fertilizing (clover makes its own).
Mow at 3-4 inches.
The lawn industry told you clover was a weed so they could sell you chemicals.
Take your lawn back.
.@FreddyLA7 is stranded in Oklahoma and had their flight delayed until tomorrow. They’re going to miss their game.
This gentleman has stepped up and offered a jet! We need Freddy to respond! 🔥❤️🇺🇸🇩🇪
America is just kicking ass with the World Cup!
I’m sorry but churches and shrines burning reeks of terrorist behavior. The destruction of antiquities has been long documented by invaders. It’s time to realize it is important to protect current and legacy landmarks for the communities and citizens that live there. Current criminals don’t care, nonbelievers generally aren’t interested. It’s deduction by elimination- and if something stood for decades or centuries- why are they suddenly burning.
It is really nice to see a crowd in Seattle chanting "USA" rather than burning American flags and marching on behalf of terror organizations
Can we import more normal people?
"It's only a little bit of oxalate." "It's only a little seed oil." Always one compound at a time, always just a little. Here is the actual roll call your gut clocks in a single ordinary day.
Oxalates, off the spinach and almonds, binding your calcium and seeding stones in the susceptible.
Lectins, from grains and beans, gut-irritant proteins whose kidney-bean cousin hospitalises people when undercooked.
Phytates, in grains, nuts and pulses, clamping onto your iron, zinc and magnesium and marching them out unabsorbed.
Goitrogens, from raw kale and soy, jamming the thyroid's uptake of iodine.
Tannins, in tea, coffee and pulses, binding protein and blocking iron.
Saponins, from legumes and quinoa, detergent-like compounds that loosen the gut lining.
Glycoalkaloids like solanine, from potatoes and the nightshades, nerve toxins the plant brews to repel insects.
Cyanogenic compounds, in cassava, lima beans and apple pips, releasing small doses of cyanide.
Phytoestrogens, from soy, plant oestrogens nudging a system that never asked.
Salicylates, across countless plants, defence chemicals a fair few people react badly to.
Seed oils, the linoleic acid smeared through nearly everything, an oxidation-prone fat that lodges in your tissues for years.
Added sugar and fructose, driving uric acid, fatty liver and the slow insulin climb.
Emulsifiers and additives, through all the ultra-processed stuff, linked to a leakier gut and an immune system left running hot.
Glyphosate residue, turning up in the urine of four in five of us, food the main way in.
Now the part the "only a little" crowd never mention. You do not face that list with a fresh gut and a rested immune system. Each item lands on a lining already irritated by the last, on defences already working overtime, on a body that has run this gauntlet every day for thirty or forty years without once starting clean.
The single dose was always a distraction. Stack the whole list, three meals a day, for decades, and the little is the entire bill.
🚨ISLAMIZATION OF TEXAS CONTINUES - THEY'RE NOW ON OUR HIGHWAYS
This billboard is currently on I-30 in Dallas:
"THE MUSLIMS WERE RIGHT"
Paid for by ICNA / WhyIslam
877-WHY-ISLAM
Let that sink in.
This is the same ICNA/WhyIslam group that, just months ago, set up at Wylie East High School and handed out Qurans, hijabs, and "Understanding Shariah" pamphlets to students during lunch - without parental consent and in violation of school policy.
[ICNA/WhyIslam are influenced by Jamaat-e-Islami and tied to networks that include Muslim Brotherhood organizations]
Now they're on our highways telling every driver that "the Muslims were right."
Texans, this is not neutral community outreach.
⚠️This is dawah - the Islamic invitation phase.
Groups like ICNA and WhyIslam are following a deliberate, documented strategy. Their approach, drawn from Muslim Brotherhood planning documents (including the 1991 Explanatory Memorandum) and classical Islamic sources, has two main stages:
🔺Stage 1 (current):
Invitation + normalization while numbers are still small. Use billboards, school events, public messaging, and community programs to make Islam more visible and accepted.
🔺 Stage 2:
Once they have demographic weight and institutional access (schools, government, media, corporations), shift to consolidation and dominance. The stated goal in these documents is not permanent pluralism, but the eventual establishment of Islamic governance.
Osama bin Laden used a similar pattern publicly before 9/11. He repeatedly issued "invitations" to the West to accept Islam. When those were rejected, he escalated to violent jihad.
If this billboard doesn't concern you, you're not paying attention.
Texas drivers see this messaging every day on I-30.
Our kids saw it in their school cafeteria.
Enough TEXAS!
‼️Demand that ICNA and WhyIslam lose access to our public schools and taxpayer-funded highway billboards.
The "invitation" phase only continues as long as we keep accepting it.
.@AAGDhillon, an entering medical residency class being
87.5% foreign born in country where 14.8% is foreign born, and
50% Pakistani in country where 0.50% is Pakistani
would seem worthy of investigation, no?
@info_maiden We found over 20 H-1B landlords in Parker, CO alone.
Sadly, they are not a collaborative state and don't have the appetite to look into possible mortgage fraud.
Thanks to the @Unitedcajunnavy Mississippi Chapter for the quick response to catastrophic flooding around Perkinston. We were able to join local 1st responders to help both our human and our furry neighbors! Great job Team UCNMS! @tatereeves
PLAYING THE VICTIM:
During Seattle University’s June 14 commencement at Climate Pledge Arena, a graduate Sumeyya Osman, began unfurling the Palestinian flag as she approached Provost Shane P. Martin for a picture. Martin grabbed the flag, hid it from the camera, and then pulled her arm, leading her away from the stage
According to reports, students were warned against such actions in communications before graduation and the Interim President of Seattle University also attempted to prevent the student from displaying the flag
This did not stop the student from playing the victim and claiming her religious rights were violated because she doesn't touch men. She held a press conference with the local chapter of the terror linked Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), whose director Imraan Siddiqi, a Democratic candidate for the Legislature demanded an apology from the university
Here is your weekly reminder that Invenergy has admitted its Alle-Catt Wind complex in Western New York will kill an estimated 41 eagles in its lifespan.
In order to offset the eagle "carnage," New York is allowing the corporation to pay $2 million to @Cornell for mitigation.
Cornell is the same university that helped restructure our state's Mineral Soil Groups (MSGs) that downgrade what's considered prime USDA farmland.
Better yet, our state's @NYSDEC has a dead eagle carcass shipping protocol so you can send in those mangled bodies and receive your mitigation payout!
If 41 eagles will admittedly die at one wind complex (it's undoubtedly more than that), and ORES has permitted 8 wind complexes for NY to date, that's around 328 eagles that will die in the name of "renewable energy."
At this pace, eagles will go entirely extinct in New York State if something isn't done to defend our wildlife.
These are sick, sick people.
The California Public Utilities Commission is a five person panel.
All five appointed by the governor.
PG&E donates to the governor’s wife.
The fine gets waived.
That’s not a coincidence.
That’s a system.
This clip of Charles Payne during Obama's second term is really incredible. Well done Charles.
In 2010 Obama put the federal government directly in charge of lending money to students. Eliminating private lending made the loans much easier to get, but they were not less expensive.
Before Obama took office, outstanding student debt was less than $100 billion. By 2015, outstanding student debt was approximately $800 billion and almost a third of the borrowers were in default. Of course the price of college continued to soar the entire time.
This is the best part. Payne predicted that someday the politicians would be promising to forgive student debt as a way to buy votes. He was spot on.
There are people like Ro Khanna on this site right now arguing that Elon Musk should be paying down the student debt when it's a problem that politicians created.
