I was told it could take up to 14 days, but usually faster, now I'm being told December.

@Missinginact9 @TVP_Specials @TVP_Banbury No, they are used for special events such as this and the Battle of Britain parade, etc. Not all areas do it. It is very much a local choice along with the neighbourhood policing team.

@sc_survey @CheshPolSC TVP are trying, but with a large amount of new regs from uplift waiting for a course, they need to take priority. Such a large force with limited training spaces is hard. But we have had our first 4 trained this year, a huge positive from back when the answer was just no.

@SYP_SCchief @CakeLegislator TVP have just moved away from the bar system and have to agree that a vast majority of the regs had no idea what the bars were for. The SC and crown are clearly visible and, so far, had no confusion or issues at all since changing over.

📊 Looking back to July @TVP_Specials from @TVP_Banbury @TVP_WestOxon & @TVP_Bicester volunteered 539 hours over 86 shifts. 👏

Myself and 2 of the team were in @TVP_Banbury today for the D-Day commemoration outside the Town Hall.

Was also great that it coincided with #VolunteersWeek @TVP_Specials

So far, this #VolunteersWeek @ThamesVP @TVP_Specials have had their FIRST Special Constable pass their blue light course, with another 4 lined up for their course over the coming months.

This is a great step forward for our Specials!

@sc_survey That's part of our work, we want the numbers but those numbers need to be of good quality, for us it isn't just about numbers.

@dutchy280 @WeCops @WecopsCaroline #ESP Employer Supported Policing, a national scheme by the home office. Employers sign up and offer their employees extra paid holiday to go and volunteer. It gets missed, but it is something I am working on for our comms team to highlight.
