Yesterday, the @NYPDDetectives Animal Cruelty Squad and Warrant Squad arrested a 29-year-old Bronx man regarding this case of animal cruelty. Great job by all of our Detectives involved.
To those who’d question the value of fare evasion enforcement, look no further than the 25-year-old man these Manhattan Transit cops confronted yesterday for jumping the turnstile. Turns out he’s been on the run from an attempted MURDER case in 2021, not to mention a 2nd felony investigation also involving the discharge of a firearm. Truly impactful work by these District 4 officers.

At 9:42am Tuesday, the FDNY was called to 135-40 229th St. in Qns for a construction accident that trapped 2 workers. #FDNY members shored up loose concrete with spreaders & step chucks, & dug the patients out. Patients were transported with non-life-threatening injuries.
