I haven't posted in a while, but I didn't stop building so let me introduce #ThumbnailPreview, a browser extension that helps YouTubers make their thumbnails better.

@jrfarr I really like the MoR integration in @stripe, but how can I get my hands on a reverse invoice like the ones from Lemon Squeezy?
Stripe support team doesn't seem to have a clue what I'm talking about π
PS: thanks for the great work π

Also, check out the website, which was vibe coded from scratch in a couple of hours with @nextjs and V0.

@philkellr@CicmilJovan Itβs worth getting an ETF accumulating (i.e automatically reinvesting dividends) depending where you have tax residency. Switzerland I think it might tax you on that, just like for regular ETF, but double check
@florinpop17 For starters, you should be language agnostic. You should understand how the flow works from website to server and reverse, how the HTTP(S) protocol works.
Being full stack also means that you can't know everything in great detail and you have to accept that.
Last week I sold an AD slot on #meetlist for a 2-week campaign, but after 2 days, the client wanted a refund due to low results. What would you do?
1οΈβ£ Refund in full
2οΈβ£ Partial refund
3οΈβ£ No refund

@iletitcrash@stripe Don't know tbh, I understand why this can happen e.g. card details got stolen. Even so, 3D secure should have prevented this.
It doesn't make sense why not allow me to refund the user in full, instead of automatically extracting the paid money and adding the dispute fee on top
I started the morning with my first @stripe dispute notification. A customer has a yearly subscription and a few days ago, it was up for renewal. His card expired in February, but the payment went through anyway.
The dispute fee is β¬21.15 WTF!

@stripesupport@stripe Ok, but in this case, the dispute was filed no? It says I have 16 days to respond. The customer didn't notify me before, I would have refunded him.
