🚨 Scientists say our universe might have a twin — one that flows in reverse through time.
A team of physicists led by Professor Neil Turok at the University of Edinburgh has proposed a mind-bending theory: a mirror universe may have existed before the Big Bang, moving backward in time.
Published in the Annals of Physics, the theory suggests that instead of the universe beginning from nothing, our cosmos is one half of a perfectly symmetrical reality—where the other half is an “anti-universe” that mirrors our own in space, time, and physical laws, but flows in the opposite temporal direction.
This bold idea is rooted in symmetry principles of physics and challenges the widely accepted models of cosmology.
Turok and his team believe this elegant symmetry could solve some of the biggest unanswered questions in the universe, such as the imbalance between matter and antimatter and the elusive nature of dark matter. Unlike complex inflation theories or multiverse hypotheses, the “anti-universe” model aims to simplify and restore balance to our understanding of the cosmos.
If proven or supported by future discoveries, it could revolutionize how we view time, existence, and the origins of everything. As Turok puts it, the theory invites cosmologists to “break free” from current assumptions and embrace new possibilities about the universe’s beginning.

Coming soon: one of history’s most complex missions
Tune in on Tuesday, June 9, at 11am ET, to meet the astronauts flying aboard Artemis III, the mission that will test docking capabilities with commercial landers in low Earth orbit — an important step to crewed lunar landings.
🚨: Elon Musk said, “I want to ensure that everyone can go to the Moon or Mars.”
Musk explained the reason for this with the words “to secure the future of consciousness.”
Elon Musk thinks coding dies this year.
Not evolves. Dies.
By December, AI won’t need programming languages. It generates machine code directly. Binary optimized beyond anything human logic could produce. No translation. No compilation. Just pure execution.
Musk: “You don’t even bother doing coding.”
Code was never the point. It was friction. A tax we paid because machines didn’t speak human. AI just learned fluent human. The tax is gone.
Now plug that into Neuralink. No syntax. No keyboard. No screen.
Musk: “Imagination-to-software.”
Thought becomes executable. You imagine an outcome, the system architects and compiles it into reality instantly.
We’re not automating programming. We’re erasing it from existence.
The entire profession collapses into a thought. Decades of training reduced to irrelevance. The gap between idea and instantiation hits zero.
You don’t build anymore. You imagine, and it materializes.
Not incremental progress. Total phase shift. The way humans have created things for ten thousand years just became obsolete.
Welcome to a world where the limiting factor isn’t skill, resources, or time. It’s whether you can picture what you want clearly enough for a machine to birth it into existence.
🚨 BREAKING
The first drug where AI designed both the target and the molecule has just published Phase II results in Nature Medicine.
Patients with a fatal lung disease gained lung function in 12 weeks.
Current treatments only slow the decline. This is different.
🧵 Here's what just happened (and why it matters for medicine).

@QualiaQuanta God bless. Without stealing your thunder can this complex understanding help us with phenomena like the substrate of consciousness? Theoretically lay it on me
There is a geometry of life and death, this is known, what knowledge transcends that wherein we optimize our understanding of the geometries of the universe for sentient life.
@jawwwn_@60Minutes There is obviously no “degree” you can get from a university that actually teaches you how to make an orbital rocket, as none of the professors know how to do it!
