Had a wonderful summer working with @justin_salamon and @urinieto as an intern in the Audio AI Lab @AdobeResearch in San Francisco! If any fellow PhDs would like to know more about my experience and how to apply, drop me a message!
I recently released an EP that I recorded during the pandemic and it will air today 5pm U.K. time on EastBlenders @threadsradio hosted by the amazing @Lia_Mice. Tune in 🎶 or checkout the EP on Spotify https://t.co/esNYXuzYSl
Super happy that my work “SketchSynth: a browser-based sketching interface for sound control” was voted best demo at #NIME2023 ✍️💻🎶 read the paper here https://t.co/go0Blywoal

Today I will perform The Sabotaging Piano at @nime2023 - a piece by my PhD colleague Teo Dannemann who built a system that forces improvisers to move away from their usual playing patterns. Come along! 🎹💻
My takeaways from #chi2023:
- it‘s large
- loads of interesting and prestigious people, but everyone just cooks with water 😉
- @medialab knows how to party
Really happy to have experienced it with my colleagues from @QMUL_MAT and @CDT_AI_Music
@elepetrovs Absolutely agree! I often have to clarify to non-academics that being a PhD “student” is nothing like being a undergraduate or even Master student.
I'd like to invite all of you interested in #sleep to join me for this in-person workshop on 10 March in London and support me with my PhD research. An academic publication with co-authorship might be possible as an outcome. Please sign up via https://t.co/Ux0yI93C2N
Happy to announce that our paper "SketchSynth: cross-modal control of sound synthesis" has been accepted to @EvostarConf 2023! Great way to start my last PhD year at @QMUL_MAT 🎓
We are happy to announce the release of "EnsembleSet: A new high-quality synthesized dataset for chamber ensemble separation" at @ISMIRConf 🎶🎻🎶 work done at @c4dm@CDT_AI_Music w/ @emmanouilb and @markbsandler

I believe that “informal” events like this are crucial to a research community and it’s great that our research groups support us in organising them ☺️
Last Thursday we ran the 3rd iteration of Work in Progress with amazing works from members of @QMUL_MAT, @CDT_AI_Music and @c4dm that being together cutting edge technology and live music
We started this event series to give PHDs and Master students the opportunity to present work that is unfinished and/or does not fit into an academic outlet. But it also turned out to be a great way to find out about the research interests of our colleagues!
