Dear Folks in Delhi NCR
On May 3, 2023 the Indigenous Meiteis came under a pre planned attack by armed Chin Kuki Militants that set off the ongoing 3 year long Manipur crisis.
Even today, thousands continue to languish in Relief Camps, like refugees in their own homeland.
Please join us in the Peaceful Sit in Protest:
🗓️Date: May 3, 2026
🕑Time: 2-5 PM
📍Venue: Jantar Mantar, New Delhi.
All Delhi-based Meitei Organizations - Students, Youth and CSOs - have come together to demand Peace and Justice for Manipur.
Let's come together on May 3 for our motherland 🙏
I have demanded strict action from Shri Amit Shah ji, Hon’ble Home Minister, Govt of India, against the terrorist activities that led to the killing of a 4-year-old child and a 5-month-old baby of the Meitei community in the bomb attack on April 7 midnight in Bishnupur district, Manipur.
I demand an immediate investigation and accountability of those culprits.
Targeting innocent children is an attack on humanity itself. Such barbaric acts cannot be tolerated. Justice must be swift and exemplary.

#WATCH | Imphal, Manipur | Grandfather of the two children killed in the April 7 Tronglaobi incident, Oinam Babuton, says, "The government said that they will give us an ex-gratia payment. But we do not want it. We don't approve of it at all... Police teams, NIA teams, and even forensic teams visited for inspection. But there has been no outcome yet... Their mother was discharged from the hospital today and brought back home. She said that she didn't feel like staying here, that her heart was not into it. That's why she has gone to her maternal home. You can not compensate for a human life with ex-gratia. Rs 10-20 lakh will not bring back someone... We want justice. We want such incidents to never be repeated in the future..."
#ALERT: Thousands of fake accounts with indigenous Meetei Names have popped up to Oppress Voices for Justice against the Indian Army/ Security Forces & Indian Govt and to Mislead the public outside Manipur.
BUT WHY ALL SHOW THEIR ACCOUNT BASED AS BANGLADESH? Why @official_dgar?
Truly heartbreaking 💔
“‘Mama, I love you’. Those were the last words my baby told me”: Oinam Binita, mother of the two babies killed in the midnight attack while they slept.
“They knew nothing and slept peacefully in my arms. It would have been better if I had died and they had lived. My little one just stopped responding… she was too tired. They are martyrs, and I will not rest until the perpetrators are punished.”
“My husband (BSF personnel), was on duty protecting the nation. We slept believing that his fellow Security Forces would protect us. If they couldn’t, I wish I had been able to save my children.”
The perpetrators remain at large. The government has completely failed to protect civilians. No mother should ever have to endure such pain.
It is widely suspected that Kuki militants are behind this attack as part of a continuing campaign of terror against Meitei civilians.
@YKhemchandSingh@AmitShah
Several Delhi-based CSOs and student groups came together for a solemn candlelight vigil at Lodhi Garden, Delhi today to mourn the innocent lives lost in the henious bomb attack in Tronglaobi, Manipur where two babies were mercilessly killed in their sleep by Chin Kuki militants.
In grief and solidarity, we raised a collective voice, making a joint appeal to both the State and Central Governments to uphold constitutional authority and take decisive action to end the Chin Kuki militants' systematic campaign of terror inflicted on Meitei civilians
Days after two children in Manipur were killed in an alleged bomb attack on the house of a Meitei family in Bishnupur’s Tronglaobi, leading to tensions rising once again in the State, the children’s grandfather on Thursday (April 9, 2026) virtually addressed a press conference, calling for the immediate arrest of the perpetrators, who he believed were “Kuki militants”.

🚨 "We cannot fight three bigger ENEMIES at the same time.
We cannot fight India!
We cannot fight Bangladesh!
We cannot fight Myanmar!"
- Mizoram's Chief Minister, Lalduhoma
Date: 4th Sep, 2024
Event: Townhall Meeting, Chin Community of Indiana
Organized by: The Chin Evangelical Baptist Church in the USA
His determination to advocate for his people, even against the Indian government, is noteworthy.
However, the path he's proposing could lead to significant turmoil, affecting neighboring states like Assam, Manipur, Nagaland, and even international relations with Bangladesh and Myanmar.
Is this a call for unity or a step towards division?
#SeditionAlert #IndiaFirst #LegalActionNeeded
This poses a serious threat to India’s unity and security.
We urge you not to be swayed by smiles or sugar-coated words. You are breeding a khalistani movement on Indian Soil.
Please take decisive action—no deals with a Chief Minister who labels India as an "enemy" on American soil.
@narendramodi@AmitShah@DrSJaishankar@NBirenSingh@himantabiswa@Neiphiu_Rio@DrManikSaha2 🙏
Dear @manipur_police Appreciate your public advising not to be misled by unverified information.
But as law enforcing authority, we expect you to take appropriate action against COTU for issuing this misleading statement to incite communal violence; and not just issue advisory.
In 2000 in Malom Massacre, Ima Sinam Chandrajini lost her two sons and her sister due to firing by security forces, an incident which led Irom Sharmila on a 16 year old historic fast unparalleled in world history. Today, another #Indigenous mother lost her two children in one day in the Moirang bomb attack in Manipur done by “war criminals and cowards” who are bent on disturbing the peace in the state. Justice be done @UNDP_India@UN_HRC@UN4Indigenous@childreninwar@UNICEFIndia
Imphal, Manipur | On the death of her five-year-old grandson and five-month-old granddaughter when a bomb was hurled by suspected militants at their house in the Tronglaobi Awang Leikai area, Oinam Ongbi Loidang says, "I want justice for the killing of my grandson and granddaughter. I urge the authorities to identify, book, and arrest the culprits within five days... The government claims that peace is returning, but how could such a brutal incident happen? When will this violence end? We do not want any ex gratia or compensation. No amount of money can replace our grandchildren. What we want is justice, an end to this violence, and stronger, more serious action from the government... Their mother is in deep trauma. She faints frequently and keeps asking us to bring her children back... She came to know about the death of her children this morning through a newspaper. After learning the truth, she kept asking to be taken to them and demanded to see her children..."
The death toll from the recent Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) firing in Manipur has risen to three, following the demise of a 31-year-old man who had been critically injured.

Officials confirmed that he had sustained injuries to his torso, and his body has been kept at the hospital mortuary.
The incident comes in the wake of renewed violence on Tuesday, triggered by an attack allegedly carried out by suspected Kuki militants.

What fault could innocent children—sleeping safely in their own home—possibly have to deserve such a fate?
