This year, when @a2schools students need it the most, our partners are there. Thank you #MichiganPowerRodding for generously donating more than $2,500 in gift cards for our students. You can help, too! https://t.co/OlCJhGpdgx @A2SchoolsSuper

What an honor! We were fortunate to host a visit from Hikonyan!! Students were literally jumping out of their seats and I was starstruck. @AAPSGlobalEd
Hikone's official mascot Hiko-nyan visited Ann Arbor, Michigan on Sept. 20–21, 2019 to help celebrate the two cities' 50th anniversary of sister-city relations. Congratulations to both! #LakewoodElementary#hikonyan https://t.co/BgEGrghpLT
Hikonyan played rock-paper-scissor with kids in the library and was given a Kindness Rock in the STEAM lab. There was an abundance of awe & excitement. Remember, families can visit Hikonyan at the downtown library tomorrow at 10:30am. What an #A2Breakthrough partnership!
#Hikone and #AnnArbor are celebrating 50 years as Sister Cities. As a result, #AAPS students are learning about Japanese food and culture. Last night we hosted an amazing kimono demonstration followed by a sushi and takoyaki making class. @MayorTaylorA2@A2schools
Last week a mother came to our school. She came because she felt welcome. She came to share her language. She came to read w/ her daughter. She read in Arabic while her daughter echoed in English. We celebrate & honor the cultural diversity of our community @A2_Logan & @A2schools
