A lithium battery swelling to this extent without any misuse is a serious safety concern that deserves proper investigation, not a simple warranty rejection. Lithium-ion batteries can overheat, swell, and present fire risks if they fail.

I was simply informed that the product is out of warranty, and therefore no replacement would be provided. My concern is not only about the warranty. It is about customer safety.If this battery had exploded and caused injuries or property damage, who would have been responsible?

My EVM 10000mAh power bank developed a severely swollen battery, and the casing opened on its own. As you can clearly see from the photographs, this was not normal wear and tear. The device was not connected to a charger when the battery swelled.
