Reality: Some travellers were out stealing fuel and they got too near the airbase and were nabbed by the police. Charged with theft and bailed to appear.
Farage: Illegal immigrants broke into an airbase and were arrested as spies and inexplicably released on bail.
Trump: Foreign agents penetrated an Airbase but I caught them. I have been watching them for ages.
MAGA: Russian or Chinese illegal immigrants attacked a US airbase with explosives and were hauled away to prison forever. The UK is lost.

UNLAWFUL ARREST
On Sunday, police forcefully detained and handcuffed a young man under Section 13 of the Terrorism Act. They stripped him of clothing while dragging him across the floor.
He had not committed any crime.
When you’re drunk, you still know murder is a crime. Theft is a crime. Kidnap is a crime. And yet? The only crime we hear about men MAGICALLY not knowing that rape is wrong is when they are drunk.
It’s very simple.
Don’t have sex if the woman is visibly incapacitated.
OFFICIAL STATEMENT - Yesterday, I made a serious mistake while trying to register the domain name https://t.co/5HfZlm0JR7, and instead of directing all web traffic from it towards an appeal to help the recently arrested Danny Tommo, all visitors were sent to my RNLI appeal for The Flying Farage instead and it’s jumped up to £397,173.
Upon realising my mistake, I tried to log back into the control panel provided by the domain name company, but I couldn’t find the piece of paper that I wrote the password on.
Upon further investigation, I learned that my eight-year-old had turned it into a paper plane and it had flown out of the back door and into the garden, where a waiting badger picked it up and then ran off to use it as bedding in his sett.
They can be quite vicious apparently so I didn’t want to try and get it back in case it scratched me, and so I’ve been trying to guess the password.
I’m pretty certain that it’s 26 random characters long but with the word ‘frenulum’ in the middle, but until I’ve figured it out the domain name will have to take people to my RNLI appeal instead.
Thanks for your understanding in this matter.

"Abandoned, dismissed and gaslighted: there is no excuse for the way M.E. sufferers have been betrayed."
Huge thanks to George Monbiot for trying to keep this issue in the public eye. #MECFS#r4today

@Glennademeter@davidtuller1 This is still going? It was around over 20 years ago and I was put under pressure to try it. Refusing to do the LP was viewed as an u willingness to get better from ME. The LP does so much damage.
This is absolutely outrageous from @andyburnham@UKLabour@labourpress. A Trump-like attempt to suppress independent journalism.
There should be no place for this kind of behaviour in British "democracy".
Grateful to everyone who's shared this📰 by

🚨🇬🇧 No one is saying Danny Tommo intended to hurt anyone in his Channel escapade.
At sea, that isn't the test. The test is what a competent seaman would do. He failed it four times in one afternoon.
You don't crowd a rescue. Unless the coastguard asks for you, you stand off. Rescue is the most dangerous moment for an overloaded dinghy. People panic, surge to one side, and boats break up. Tommo drove a speedboat into a live rescue and picked out the dinghy with the most people on it.
You don't take a knife to an inflatable with someone on it. When a tube goes soft, the boat loses its shape and its buoyancy fast. The rescuer was standing between two hulls. Go in the water there and you face a crush risk as well as the cold. That's basic seamanship.
You don't leave wreckage behind. A half-sunk dinghy full of lifejackets can look like casualties to a helicopter or a passing ship. False alarms and mistaken identity cost lives in the Channel. In 2021, rescuers found the wrong boat, the search for the sinking one appears to have stopped, and at least 27 people died.
These waters have already shown what happens when small boats go unseen. In 2006, three men died off the Isle of Wight when a ferry ran down their yacht. It never showed up on the ship's radar. The bridge didn't see it until it was too late. Small boats are close to invisible to big ships. Everyone who goes out there in one owes it to themselves, and to the rescuers who'd have to come for them, to act like it.
And the oldest rule at sea: you help people in distress. Whoever they are, however they got there. Tommo's words on the livestream were "we're going to take the one with the most on." He wasn't going out to help. He was going out to find out where they'd land.
Then he told the rescuer, "Get off the boat, you've got time." While cutting it.
You don't tell a man he's got time unless you know he's in danger. He knew. He cut it anyway.
Not malicious. Just dangerously ignorant, and reckless with other people's lives. On the water, that's worse.
@stewarty1972@thechefie@supertanskiii Entering the country on a small boat is not illegal if the person claims asylum in arrival as per international law.
Bowie and the Tom Robinson Band made me question homophobia, hanging out at reggae gigs helped me reject my parents' racism, hearing The Clash drew me towards leftwing politics. And now now Laura Kuenssberg is questioning whether musicians should take political stances?
Charlotte Church sang From the River to the Sea at a fundraising event for Palestinians and now all the usual people are screaming antisemitism and trying to cancel her.
