@SayreBedinger@StChuck_TO From week 11 thru the divisional round (basically post-Dobbins, pre-Nix injuries) the Broncos offense was 8th in EPA/play and 8th in success rate. So... Yes?
@SayreBedinger Do you think any of the top RB/WR/TE were worth overpaying and also losing the 4th round comp pick we are projected to get for losing JFM?
Once Pitts and Breece Hall were tagged, this FA class became very mediocre especially for our needs
@Zach_Segars Mims, Moss, Forsyth, Nix, Ellis, Franklin, KAD, Vele, Harvey, Bryant, Que, Crawshaw were all good picks considering where they were drafted. Dondrea Tillman was a good find too.
Not a bad hit rate considering we didn't have a 1st in '23
@Robby_NFL JK is one of the most creative/patient runners in the NFL. He was able to get 2nd level defenders to bite and end up out of position on many of his more successful runs. Not sure that's a fair bar for other RBs though, OL needs to be better (and so do the TEs)
@Robby_NFL Bronco's OL seemed to get no push on the majority of runs, and rarely opened up big lanes like I've seen from other top NFL run blocking units. They didn't allow a ton of penetration, but you just end up with a wall of linemen
@JasonBishopNFL@TeeItUp406@chase12270 I can see your point but I think you're a little too pessimistic. We have 11 guys aged 30+ but the only one I'm really worried about replacing (eventually) is Bolles. We still have prime years remaining from PS2/Bonitto/ZA/Meinerz/Hufanga
@AllbrightNFL I don't think this is right. TDs also count as 1st downs. Otherwise Alex Pierce would have had 39 combined 1D/TD on 37 receptions last year
