Over 834 people. Countless stories. One shared purpose. What a beautiful reminder of what humanity can achieve when people come together.. Behind every number is a life, a family, a struggle, and a story worth listening to.

To our medical teams, pharmacies, suppliers, Nakaseke District Local Government, volunteers, partners, and every generous heart that stood with us, thank you for bringing more than healthcare to our communities. You brought dignity, compassion, and hope.

The medical camp may come to an end, but the kindness you have shown will live on in the hearts of the people of Nakaseke. Because sometimes, the greatest medicine we can offer is simply reminding someone that they matter.

Look Who Is With Us on Day Two of Our Medical Camp...... The Professor. The Founder. The Researcher. The Clinician. But above all, a proud son of Nakaseke who has never forgotten where his story began. There is something truly beautiful about watching someone who has travelled the world, walked through some of the finest institutions, and achieved so much in medicine return home to serve the very people and community that shaped his childhood.

For us, this is more than just another day at the medical camp. It is a special moment. Here is a man whose journey began in the humble villages of Nakaseke, a man who understands the struggles of our people because he has lived through some of them himself. Life has taken him far, education has opened many doors, and his work has touched lives beyond Uganda. Yet, through it all, Nakaseke has remained close to his heart.

And today, he is right here among his people. Not just as a professor or a celebrated medical professional, but as one of their own, listening to their stories, attending to their health needs, sharing smiles, and offering the kind of care that comes straight from the heart.

You can imagine what this means to the people of Nakaseke. The joy of seeing their own son return, not simply to visit, but to serve. The happiness of knowing that someone who has achieved so much still finds time to sit with them, listen to them, and care for them.

Professor @rkalyes1 , you remind us that the greatest achievement in life is not simply how far we go, but how many people we lift along the way. And perhaps the most beautiful part of your story is the message it gives to every young child growing up in Nakaseke: that greatness can begin in a small village, that difficult beginnings do not have to define one's future, and that success becomes even more meaningful when we use it to change the lives of others. Today, the people of Nakaseke are happy to have you among them. And we at ACCESS are even happier to share this beautiful moment with you.

Once a child of Nakaseke, always a child of Nakaseke. No matter how far the journey takes you, home will always be home. Welcome home, Professor. Your people are proud of you.
